I swear people are blurring everything without even bloody thinking. Everyone here SHOULD be aware that Xbox requires XBL Gold membership to play the game so be prepared to also need PS+ for multiplayer if you’re a PS4 player.
Easy way to avoid griefers, don’t buy PS+ Membership, (I specifically bought NMS cause I didn’t need PS+ to play it)
You don’t have to avoid PS+…I mean there are menu options in game to disable online play. Though I don’t think they’ll force open MP with PvP on existing game modes and will either provide more refined disabling options or will gate it to a new game mode.

I find it interesting that they split co-op and regular multiplayer. Think one will be free-roam and others will be more of a seperate-from-the-rest session for just the 4 of you?
