Query: if you play the expedition with your normal save, when you ‘check out’ at the terminal on the Anomaly, can you bring your Corvette over to your normal save?

The generated name of my corvette in this playthrough is the “Yukuok”. Possibly one of the most appealing names I’ve seen in game. I might keep it - just for the name.

Help! I’m exploring a derelict freighter. I’ve landed the corvette but my jetpack has been disabled and I can’t seem to find a way to get into the freighter. Can anyone offer a helpful suggestion?

Not sure I understand the problem exactly. There are two buttons in your corvette by the hatch/door , the one on the left facing the back(aft) will take you down to the derelict. If that helps?

Thanks! That helps. I was unaware of the functionality of that other button. I would open the hatch and walk out and immediately drop down where my corvette was parked.

It’s tricksy. It only functions under certain circumstances - the rest of the time, mine doesn’t even have a label to tell you what it’s supposed to do. You just have to guess - or ask here, and hope someone kind tells you.

Yeah, the interaction button has been buggy for me too. It happens everywhere, but especially on the Corvettes. It hangs up and won’t confirm. It takes three trys usually to get into cockpit seat.
@Licoricemint oh, good. I had the same question the other day, I think I found the answer here. I am just passing it on. When I read about it. I was like, “What, there is no button there!” End of the story there was.

The Nexus is full of corvettes made of loose collections of bits - they have no floors, no roofs, - you can’t stand in them - you fall through.
Still seeing (or, rather, not seeing) - invisible ships. Still findind multiple ships superimposed on the same space. Pilots flying in sitting on nothing but air. It’s quite a mess.

NMS just crashed so badly I had to restart the whole computer. It takes serious effort to confuse Windows 11 Pro that much.

I had a series of these types of crashes. They seem to have calmed down but I have not been in the game today. Hope it didn’t get worse again.
The last exp patch seemed to have stabilized the ships in the Anomaly but I think another patch rolled in today.

I think I will have to abandon any attempt at hichhiking for my second playthrough. It seems pretty much impossible. I went to the anomaly intending to give people lifts - it hasn’t worked out. As soon as I take off, they get dumped off my ship.

I had much better success in the space station at one of the RV points. Less traffic. More stable.

I am in the space station at the final rendezvous. I can see the white dots entering and leaving, but no ships, and no pilots.

My latest playthrough of the expedition is in a new game - so I’ve parked it for now, and gone back to my main save. I might revisit it before the thing ends, to see if there’s any improvement - but for now, I think I’ll just write it off.
I imagine there will be a lot of people who came late to the expedition, who now find they simply can’t get the htchhiking achievement, no matter how hard they try. There’s going to be a lot of disppointed players.
