This fits with the water planet we were sent to for the egg mission. Interesting.
Moved us to Community Events since that is what this is. Separate from the weekend event.
Here are the things to look forward to from our catalogue
Gonna have to redo my crop bases - or at least add on
I am so glad to see rock formations
Post on NMS FB page encouraging community interaction
Where did we stash that CSD ETARC logo?
@sheralmyst Are you referring to the thread below? I didn’t see any final decision. Or are you referring to the “A” logo, which is a single character from a font.
Can’t locate my copy of the book from the meet-up last year. A picture of the logo would surely be in it.
I believe this one by @chelofellow was the winner. Many had a say in its design.
However, the Atlas-65 logo is what is officially used to represent the forum. Which I am fine with because it is from the ARG and that is why we have this forum.

So there is no way to truely adopt @chelofellow 's design as our logo here.
It would be nice if we had been chosen to have a banner in the community event. We have been here from the start. Bummer. But I am happy for those who did get a banner.
We might have been, but the forum only really was here when the tapes started arriving. And by then it was officially still a forum for ham radio enthusiasts. It didn’t become the official NMS forum until after the launch of Atlas Rises.
So technically, most of the subreddits were around for longer than we were.
You’re right. We don’t deserve a banner.
I noted in the latest update release page for Living Ship, on NMS(dot)com, the specific mention of where community posted bases to be featured in the Anomaly, would be sourced from i.e. reddit and twitter.
There does not seem to have been any formal recognition from Hello games for this forum in the past or currently - which makes sense since for online communities/social media to work effectively it needs a certain scale to achieve mass marketing and community engagement objectives [i.e. aggregated mass, and not niche].
I am thankful this forum still remains up and active - the other channels/platforms are just too noisy for me - although some recognition/identity in the broader NMS community and meta in game features would be cool.
Well, that’s obviously not what I meant
This forum is so much nicer than Reddit, both in terms of civility and site design. Looks do count.
I don’t mind being a “nobody.”
I wear my banner on the inside
I agree. It is much nicer here.
Ahhh… an agility conference…
This always comes to mind when I hear about such things:

For context, it’s a parody of this:
Only it’s not so much a mockery of the concept, but a mockery of how the concept tends to be implemented by big companies.
truth
this is my career I have been a PM/“Scrum Master”/“insert whatever new label for the next fad of software dev co-ordination role here” for last 15+yrs
Seen it almost all and the bad with the good…just let ppl [adults] get on with what they are skilled/have expertise in and are good at and help them succeed
