Brother Can You Spare a Captured Nanode? Help please

Can always do it the long way… warp to the center, advance one galaxy at a time.

Yeah they changed that in Beyond, puzzled me at first too. They should have used something like the blackhole/galaxy portal glyph icon instead. I think that would have been immediately clearer.

I just recently made it to the center of Euclid for the first time. Where do I go from there to reach another galaxy?

Find a system as close as possible to the center. In Euclid, many have been discovered and named appropriately (there’s a bunch named “EndOfTheLine”). I haven’t done it since before Beyond, but with a full warp drive you select the bright center of the galaxy with the interact button/key, not the normal warp button/key. I don’t think the button thing is actually explained anywhere, and I had to look it up online myself the first time I did it.

Ultimately, I actually stayed in Euclid. I backed up my saves before leaving, jumped to get the achievements, then restored the old save to stay. AFAIK backup/restore is necessary to stay, because the jump overwrites both saves. Although I guess you can now return to Euclid through the Nexus? I’m not familiar with how though.

The completion of the Atlas Path does not reward you to choose another galaxy to go to, that would be the Artemis quest instead. Black Holes only jump a huge distance within the galaxy you are in as well. The only way to get to another galaxy is to reach the center, to go to the next, or to finish Artemis and make a choice.

I’ve read through this tread in hopes of finding a solution to my problem, but have had no luck. Here’s my issue…
(I’m on Xboxone) I have both the star seed and remembrance, I chose not to reset the simulation because it stated I could go back if I changed my mind. I’m trying to get to the center of the galaxy so I can switch galaxies. But ultimately, traveling over 500,000 ly will take quite a long time… I can’t seem to find where I can “change my mind” and reset the simulation… also I’m being redirected to the atlas
Where are you initially get your star seed. It will let me repeat this process over and over and over…any help is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum @JDD.
I stay confused over the Atlas Path and the Purge. I believe the Purge allows you to reset the simulation. I also chose to do nothing. I never was able to return. Later, I asked Polo for directions to a blackhole and jumping through caused the Atlas Path to reappear. Visiting it allowed me choices. I chose to birth a new star.
As for reaching the center, it is very easy to do in a Living Ship with maxed hyperdrive and all upgrades in the organ chamber. They will not break there. I made the over 700,000 distance in just 1 day.

That’s frustrating @sheralmyst Lol I have over 150 hrs of gameplay and have never seen a living ship. How do I obtain a living ship?

@JDD what platform are you on? I’m on PS4 and have an egg to spare if you want it. :grin:

@Topher I wish! I’m on Xbox one

Well damn. You can buy one for 3200 Quicksilver in the Nexus. But there are probably others here that have extra eggs. :grin:

That would be amazing if someone had one! If not I have 1200 quicksilver how would I obtain more?

The orange task offered at the Nexus gives you 250 Quicksilver. And every Friday there’s a green task that gives you 1200. :grin:

I guess I’ll start doing some Nexus missions…I rarely play multiplayer, But not opposed to the idea. If…by chance there is anyone that has an extra egg…my gamer tag is CptKillAssist. Thanks in advance.

You would just need to do multiplayer if someone has an egg to give you. :grin: Nexus missions can be done solo.

Beware: Melody of the Egg takes about a week to complete. LOL

@Topher
I started a new game, logged in today and when i logged in the first thing i saw was something like “Blueprint captured nanode learned”
Logged on my main and no such luck.
Please let me know asap if u got this message as well.

Where was your character when you received that message?
In space?
On a planet?
On your freighter?
On a Station?

None of the above, i logged off on the anomaly yesterday. When i loaded my game on the Anomaly the first thing i saw was that message and yes i can craft it.

Story isnt done yet, i’ll try to be as specific as i can.
My whole problem was on my main account, by starting a new game i think i shot myself in the foot cause the “fix” wasnt needed on this account.
I think HG saw my bug and they tried to fix it by sending me that blueprint.
I was at the atlas yesterday, since atlas interface coords didnt work on main account i wanted to know if it works (which it does)
When i talked to the atlas the first time it stated “pathfinder achievement or above” i havent got it yet so i left the conversation by opting to leave.
It sounds a bit weird, but me getting the blueprint doesnt make any sense to me either.
The whole blueprint makes no sense to me, i logged in and instantly got that blueprint, nothing i have done that explains it besides HG.

I’ll let you know what happens when I log in, later today.

That’s crazy though. :man_facepalming::man_shrugging:

I forget, are you on PC experimental? If so, yes, they can look directly at your data in Steam. Not sure exactly how it works but I have had strange little ‘adjustments’ happen in my game as well.

No, Ps4.
But i did make a post at the official site for the bug report along with my psn.
