Quintillions served would’ve been funnier. XD
Yeah… A great opportunity missed.
Dear me, I haven’t seen Zardoz for years. It was ground-breaking stuff in its day.
There’s no way in the world that model’s been made using regular NMS building tools.
(edit)
The 1974 original Voldrang stole it from was inspired by.
Happy to have this freshly acquired settlement to now build upon even more.
I used to hate when you’d get to the tail end of building, and you were met with yet another choice of, stardock or water tower? And boy I hated those water towers.
Well they have spiral stairs now. I love water tower
you are like inside out lighthouse now ![]()
I have yet to upgrade any buildings or look into it so these spiral stairs seem to be there by default.
Now can we get spiral stairs for our bases next?
I wonder what else got a huge functional change to it’s looks outside of aesthetic additions?
First base I have worked on in a while. This planet is fanastic and I love this tree. (I hope it stays put) ![]()
Now if only I could keep the butterflies from slipping in thru the windows and pushing me out of build mode…
I see defence turrets crop up occasionally as user requests, maybe some day they’ll be a thing to keep the critters out.
I wouldn’t say no to one of those automated retractable turrets from derelicts. You could set it to target creatures, sentinels, unknown travellers or a selection of the bunch.
I would like to imagine it would take out those butterflies before they ahd a chance to mess with your build cam but knowing this game… It will probably just miss and shoot you out of build cam ![]()
Defence turrets already exist as an installable settlement option. They reduce the likelihood / frequency of sentinel attacks. Trouble is, you can’t see them. You can find them listed in your settlement assets, but they have no physical presence.
Main takeaway: If you want to decrease attention by the authorities, install some automated canons in your backyard.
Yeah, I’m sure that works well… ![]()
Just be in America and tell em it’s for keeping out border jumpers and nobody will bat an eyelid. Those who do will be visited by ICE ![]()
The planet I am building on is full of oddities.
The ships fly too low
Fish fall from the sky
The overgrowth in the settlement doesn’t clear
But what a planet!
I don’t want it to ever change. And it has perfect weather and low sentinel activity.
Seems to me the first is a perfectly sound explanation for the second… ![]()
