I have finally uploaded my race track base, after making some additional changes to fit the landscape. I decided to not go underground, using the terrain manipulator, as I am not sure how that will work out for other players.
The location is next to a portal, for which the glyphs are shown. The system is very close to ETARCIA ECSD in the Euclid galaxy, as shown in the image below.
The base “Loop-de-Loop” was uploaded from PC - Normal mode. All 4 Geobays are present, for the Nomad, Roamer, Pilgrim, and Colossus. Beacons for the portal (green) and base (yellow) should be visible.

Was messing around with my freighter a bit. Made two large laser cannons which can be powered on/off. Looks pretty cool, but quite a few parts went into it. Can’t really tell if I made the Vykeen commander happy …
Images don’t really do the look justice, as I can’t really get my camera in a good spot.
Of course this can only be done with some mods/tools or save editing. It was quite hard to get power added and working.
The Ceiling lights certainly do not play nice, as they only appear to work when attached to certain base parts. When not using prefab base parts, they basically do not power at all and look terrible. I consider that to be a bug.
It also appears that Coloured Lights differ in how they function depending on the colour used. Blue and Red for example, easily powers neighboring lights of the same colour when close enough. However, when using Green lights this does not happen and they pretty much require to each be powered individually.
There are also some invisible collisions near the entrance to the command center. Most of the times these are present and can be jumped over. Sometimes a reload doesn’t appear to have them while having the freighter still in the exact same location in space. I also noticed when building rooms, you sometimes get unexplainable invisible collisions. HG really needs to start looking into this, as these invisible walls are HUGE.

How did you travel to my base? Someone told me having the race track so close to the portal might be a problem. I have not been able to reproduce this with my other account though where all appears fine.

EDIT: I forget that I am in experimental. This has caused some issues at other bases as well. At least, I assume the exp branch is the issue.
I did test the use of a portal. A friend of mine had no issue seeing my base, although I am not sure how he got there and what version of the game he played. I may have to move the base if the issue remains.
I got inspired by @SingularGleam and added some flowers to my garden area.
I wonder how it looks once fully grown…
