Base Building Creations

Not quite “Amazing” compared to some (like the one right above this one)

My “Shroom” Base. Didn’t know those glass domes would stack. Interior ladder wouldn’t place though (no loss)

I only put a base there to have easy access to the portal up the hill.

Visited the Vyskee Ball Base by NMSKibbles in the featured bases at the Anomaly. It is like a work of art.

This is inside the base where the sphere appears.

The back of the goal and scoreboard.

Did you get it to work?

 Oh yeah, it works. I just don’t have the right weapon installed. All I have is the boltcaster and it didn’t have much affect.

I tried running into it - without much effect either.

Another featured base from the Anomaly

And this ‘base’ is from Weekend Event No 2 Steam Normal

So funny!

Lights flash in sequence around the landing pad

Power on/off switch and button to start the pulse, repeatedly pushing the button adds more pulses.

This “base” was right up against the perimeter of the Weekend “Story” mission area:

Inside:

Above (Too bad it wasn’t lit up:

“Beware he who would deny you access to information for in his heart he dreams himself your master.”-- Commisioner Pravin Lal, from the game, Alpha Centauri

This base was on the other side complete with helpful exo-pads and a nutrient processor available for other players to use.

Both bases were pretty awesome!

The lettering should have been flashing on and off. It was when I was there.

As interesting as the octopus base was, I did not appreciate being sucked onto its landing pad and having to walk to the destination building.

However, I did appreciate borrowing his exocraft, which I found parked at the side of the base. Very handy for collecting materials, whilst keeping out of the storms.

What happens if someone else recalls the exocraft with you in it? Can two people drive it on the same planet?

I always chuck down a multi-exocraft geobay //edit : summoning station// whatever planet I land on which allows you to choose any exocraft you want.

Once you’ve completed the mission, can you still find the portal and travel back to the same planet?

I had multiplayer off and no internet so I didn’t see all these wonderful bases. Much more creative this time.

Whenever you use an exocraft bay, what you’re summoning is your exocraft.

You can just plunk down the summoning station, which allows you to summon whatever exocraft you own wherever on the planet (not sure if that includes the nautilon, though…). And you own an exocraft as soon as you build its geobay for the first time.

It does include the nautilon - when I land on a water planet I summon the sub and a land vehicle with it, then delete it for the mats back

Probably true. My exocraft, but his geobay. It still works, though.

I think @SingularGleam has started a new fad.

Ha! Great to see! That is clever use of wires also

I did it again but with two doughnuts. It generates 12kph. Eight landing pads, gardens, restaurant and accomodations using a little under 1kph lit everywhere.
