Ah! I know, right? So glad I’m finally seeing a mention of this 
I’ve been trying to figure out from the update:
- Four new sets of soundscapes by 65 Days of Static
I searched the web for perhaps a list or more information, maybe an interview with the band. Yet, I’m not seeing anything. Obviously, you can hear the new sounds and stuff while playing NMS. I just wish the update was a tad bit more specific in this area.

Aphex twin is a good substitute to the in game music. Boards of Canada also not bad. I’m going to try some of the music mentiond above also.
