the walls might be for mounting turrets, or something else requiring power as the connector is visible. some of these are larger versions of existing ones. the Star ship races thing would likely function similar to the exocraft racing. There are also a few icons with no image yet.
Either way new things are always great.
The wall pieces are called "adaptorsâ, so its likely to attatch something to it rather than for armor.
With a little luck, perhaps they will make the lights work in the cargo area of my Freighter. 
So in case anyone doesnât mind datamined things and potential mild spoilers here is some news I just found out(others probably already knew this but as a ps4 player, i have to crawl through the internet to find things):
So apparently there are more quicksilver items added in the game files. Originally, the game had 3 more rounds of quicksliver items left(bobble head, then base building flora/minerals, then lastly more starship trails) but now we have more items placed in between these. The items are just more titles thrown in there but there are two things about this that gives speculation-fuel.
First, these titles are nice but considering that they added them in between the nicer quick silver items, rather than after, makes me think that HG is stretching this out as much as they can for some reason. Specially because this wasnât in the game files till recently.
Second⌠and this one is a big speculation heavy one⌠Get your salt readyâŚ
The final quicksilver item is a title. And that title that is to be unlocked is called âEveryone Proceduralâ⌠A hint maybe?
The two other titles that we be unlockable along side it at tier 1 and 2 will be âdreamerâ and âlonelyâ⌠HmmmâŚ

I had a look at the reward table using my tool to cross check English for the 3 titles you mentioned:

The Dreamer title is a direct reference to the ARG. We had to sync with satellites so we could communicate with the Dreamers thru Emily
Every One Procedural is a refrence to NMS itself since it is proc gen
And Loner speaks for itself since so many prefer to play alone.
That tweet made me think the ARG was back. Man, got my heart pumping for a moment there. Also, yes. It apears to be a direct reference to the arg.
If one doesnât know that tidbit, it can also be interpreted to mean âdistant planetsâ or âdistant worldsâ, which fits the game perfectly. The fact that the less poetic âsatelitesâ was chosen in this context is pretty interesting indeed!
Well, technically, moons rather than planets. However, a satellite is generally known as a man made device that orbits the earth. And the other more common use of the word of the word would be an object orbiting a planet or something. Either one is interesting though because:
If the leaker is still correct, then this may be alluding to one of the potential leaked anniversary update features regarding orbital mechanics to planets. But the leaker canât be trusted 100%, ofcourse. The procedural title may be referring to the leakersâ word on an update to procedural generation too. As for Lonely, not sure. I know people who prefer multiplayer as well as others who prefer to play solo. I prefer multiplayer myself.
since they are just unlockable tier 1-3 titles, there is nothing special required to unlock other than silver . might be as simple as people who want a title lonely, maybe to help find friends?

for those interested I just finished writing the code to cross check the QuickSilverRewards table to English Strings after identifying the product localization strings here is the current list and tiers for the rewards with descriptions. That way with new updates I can check the lazy way lol
Nice! Based on this data, and the average speed that the QS items unlock/release, we have between 5 to 10 weeks worth of QS items, since some sets of QS items unlock in a week, other in two weeks. So the final QS item(that doesnât mean we wont get more later on though) lands in the beginning of September till the end of september. This lines up with the ending of the new weekend missions which the last one should be in mid-september based on datamined story. Considering that september 22nd is the end of summer, one can reasonably assume that the large summer/anniversary update could possibly land around mid-september.
Maybe a teaser video will come this month to hype us up for next month?

What I found neat was the title for Like Traveller is a Tier 4⌠in shop 36, never seen Tier 4 before. Also the last Weekend Event Index is 45" ID - W_COMM_PQ_45 which is dated September 23 (all dates are on Wednesdays)
