Somthing about light beings and a device?

First time I’m hearing of 23 as a significant number in a numerological context. Guess I should have known that probably any random number has some significance to some nutcase!

Now write, “I’m a bad, baaad boy!” on the virtual chalkboard 16 times!
Or better yet 16 times 16 times.
Or is it really 16 times 41.625 times? Hmmm. U devil u.

Or what.
Heh, heh.

Hello Games drops some hints via Twitter, in-game conversations and “lore” messages, and similar. They may also rely on code-divers to publish ruminations on upcoming changes based o findings.

I think that if Hello Games wanted to pay for an ARG, we’d have already been in the middle of it.

Then whats happening with the tweet about 15 Dreamers? Troll? Real? How deep are the current researchers if this has been moving already?

I have seen no recent tweets from SM or HG. The last was for the new bobbleheads and the really nice underwater pic which I am sure represents the Abyss lore that is inbound.
The most intriguing thing at the moment is that the NPC’s have vanished from the Anomaly. This latest turn of events is very much like the ARG and its story. It would make sense for the new lore to tie in somehow. We still do not know what the Abyss is or the threat that it brings. Hopefully this weekend mission will bring answers or more tantalizing clues.
Also, the fact that SM is so quiet right now means they are busy. When something is about to happen, we will know it.

Yep. I meant that their general tactic seems to have changed since the last ARG.

Yes. Sorry, I was responding to @JubiTheVille. I have seen no tweets about dreamers from SM.
You are correct. SM will hint drop via twitter when something is about to drop.

Adding to this, Waking Titan cannot return… the cute hamster died…

Going back to the datamined thing…

Summary

“Everybody Procedural” doesn’t sound like a very good title. Like, Everybody Procedural Jack, or Everybody Procedural Jill… it sounds weird…

…so maybe its not actually a title…?

As the description says

It’s definitely a title.

So having traced most of the Weekend Events up until the Week # 45, Sept 16-23, the missions appear to be standard close the rift, while continuing Lore. The reason the 4 NPCs disappeared when they did, is the code says the are not visible during this week. The Spawn table has a HideDuringMissions Property, and as example one NPC (OWL) is hidden weeks 37,38,39,43,44, not sure why week events start in code on Wed but don’t show up for missions until Fri, must be server code, or delay added somewhere. But this change wasn’t done spontaneously.

Other than updates, I don’t see anything special coming based on weekend events unless something changes, at least not until we run the course of the week events already in code.

You’re probably refering to this:

It’s a video from the last season of waking titan. I think the tweeter just posted it to draw attention to some potential parallels.

Growing up mildly evangelical, I actually have the numbers 7, 12 and 144 (12^2) stuck in my head a lot more than 16, at least in a mystical context. And 666. But that’s just because I’m a metalhead…

Which reminds me of a funny story. At Wal-Mart one day, my total due was $6.66. I thought the cashier was going to faint. They are supposed to tell you the amount so she said nervously, " Oh dear! What should we call this?" I said “How about we call it 6 dollars and 66 cents?” She said, “Oh! Okay. I guess that works.” I got a good laugh out of it.
Anyway, did we ever decide why 16? I remember we speculated that it was based on a MP party limit of 16 but that has not really turned out to be true.

Well, 16 is a central number in computing, I think that’s where it came from.
As for your ancdote…
Very kind reaction on your part, I think I couldn’t have resisted telling her to “just call it the number of the beast, I’m down with that!” And then probably taking the receit and sticking it to my forehead…
Reminds me of the father of a friend of mine was pastor of a moderately conservative church in austria, and happened to get the license plate “Linz 666” dealt for his car. He had no problems with it, but a couple members of the congregation apparently got a bit nervous.

Now that I think about it, aren’t there 16 landing pads on the Anomaly?

Well, that would definitely be related to the MP cap. But I don’t think the MP cap being 16 has any real significance.

Yep, this was the tweet. I must have missed this specific video or was too caught up in some deep research at the time to remember it. I will hang my Tinfoil Helmet for now. Thanks. I would consider the tweet a Troll right now. Too bad. I got excited for a moment.
