You can get the PDF or have a book printed. The book is quite pricey. The PDF is free. It is very nice. I was happy to be a part of it.

So there is only two weeks left of story weekend missions. Exciting. However, there are still quite a bit of quicksilver items we have yet to unlock. Enough for about a month more(assuming everything gets unlocked weekly unlike the last set of bobble heads that dragged on for a long time).
Regardless, things are still pointing to “something” coming this month. Considering next gen consoles are around the corner, and recent news of powerful PCs getting wayyy cheaper, im starting to wonder if HG will taylor to the more powerful consoles and PCs(which I dont mind, I JUST finished building my first PC)
My new speculations/guesses are now leaning towards getting a smaller update this month like the others we had this year(maybe more weekend missions so that we can finish the rest of the QS items). And with it, a trailer for an anniversary update coming around the time of the next gen consoles.
But 50% of me is still feeling like we may still get the anniversary update around the end of the weekend missions.
Gotta keep my hype levels in check.

With the revelation that is to come in the next 2 weeks. It is clearly something that will need to be addressed. I am at a loss of how. I assume initially there will be cloak and dagger / keep eye on type messages…but as far as affected gameplay with numerous references previously to the Abyss…opens up so many possibilities. I don’t think it’s just going to be just lore. It’s been building up for at least 45 missions…to me that sounds like something more than just a small update…unless it comes in stages… it will be interesting.

I still say this may be the end, the last big update…perhaps the return of galaxy 257 and a final destination. It honestly feels like things are winding down.

Anything is possible, but the game’s lore has many loose ends and there are features in game that are seemingly unfinished/not used to its full potential. I think they are going to continue to support the game although I dont know how they will fund it. I do hope they monetize it at some point though, at least with some cosmetics. That could help pay more people to support the game longer plus many of us are willing to give.

I was thinking after watching a stream with Rayrod talking about his procgen mod and how it works and how he can add and change things in it. Currently NMS has set biomes. I wonder if this was necessary for a future variety update? Perhaps the biomes are the foundations for a larger variety of each individual biome. They did say that the last universe reset was to add a feature for them so that they dont have to reset the universe but rather they can add to it. This was demonstrated when the abyss update came and it only changed everything below the water. Also, they added new plants. Perhaps they wont reset the universe but instead change things gradually? Just a thought.(I prefer all-at-once though.)
Or maybe the whole new universe will be a place you can travel to instead of a reset? Hmm…

I wouldn’t think so…18 quintillion planets is more than enough however, they did remove that last galaxy and the lore does touch on all the travellers going towards the center. My hopes still lay on the return of that final galaxy and something happening at the center of it.

I’ve always hoped that HG would add some unique aspects to each galaxy to give an added incentive to “move on.”
The difference in percent chance of different types of systems is, for me, not nearly enough reason “move on.”
