Whaaattttt the heck!!! I hope there is a vendor near the mission point. I wish I could set up shop and charge like, I don’t know, 100k Units a piece.

The nice thing is Low Sentinals (didn’t see a one --though plenty of predators --take worms for them), and Blargh set up an exocraft platform and a about ten food processors. The supplies are abundant once you get the exocraft.

Had to leave to find wheat and then return…prompt stops telling you what to do next after the wheat is collected. Was having constant ‘earthquakes’ for some strange reason. Abandoned the Mission for today. Perhaps I will pick it up tomorrow.

“earthquakes” I noticed, too. But suspected hidden/underground puffers were the problem.

There’s a mechanism for making the ground shake.
Sometimes it happens because of nearby ships taking off / landing. Sometimes it’s because of large creatures passing by. Puffies will also do it.
But sometimes it happens for no obvious, visible, reason.

Been having major glitches with A Dark Maw. Coming out of the portal on the same planet I left from, mission disappeared from log at one point, and
possible spoilers
after finally finding all of what I needed, the ingredients I put in the
processor disappeared instead of creating the sacrificial item. It said to access ingredient storage, doing so of course did not get me my items or hours of effort back.

I noticed people in-game having similar issues. They were using the food processors at the nearby base. It would often mean more than one person was using it at the same time. The result was people losing the items they had gathered.
The second problem was that the on-screen prompts stop prompting you before you have gathered all needed ingredients.
I don’t think anyone will mind spoilers at this point, the Anomolous Tart is quite involved. Here is a handy recipe list for all food items in game.
As for the earthquakes, they happened at steady, regular intervals and continued no matter which planet I visited in the system. I left through the portal and when I returned with my wheat, the earthquakes resumed.
I do wish that HG would at least make sure that the prompts work for the entire recipe. I am sure many people have not pursued the recipe branch of the game and have no idea how to make this item. When the prompt stops, it tells you to deposit the gathered items, which is not what the quest asks for. I also received a prompt telling me to give the items to another player…it was very confusing.
I will return later today and see if I can manage to finish this mission.

Did anyone else experience their food processor getting stuck when making the tarts? By the time I got it to stop it had made over 60 tarts. I only had ingredients for 21.

I would think so. As for the earthquakes I have been experiencing that everywhere due to the large number of puffers. They seem to have increased their spawning on all planets. Some times I can’t see them but I can hear and feel them.

Well, I finally finished that weekend mission.
When I went back through the portal, the prompts resumed with the needed instructions. This allowed me to easily finish making the tarts.
Similar to what @BlackIris experienced, I gained a few extra ingredients at the end of each process. In total, I had 12 extra tarts when finished.
The earthquakes remained.
Perhaps that explains what happened to the plaque when I returned with the tarts in hand. 
For those who want to give up, here are the steps:
Summary
Gather 20 each Hexaberry, Milk and Heptaploid Wheat. Turn the wheat into Refined Flour, Churn the Milk into Cream, the Cream into Butter, the Refined Flour plus the Butter into Pastry, the Pastry into Pie Cases, the Pie Cases plus Hexaberry into the Tarts
