It sounds alot like something shooting. Like a weapon out of a starwars movie. Some blaster action. I wonder if it is maybe some new in-game sfx?

Was thinking something similar because the no signal sound is a lot like a ship’s engines especially when I am on board my freighter.

The sounds seem spot-on. Perhaps its the sound of a ship blasting another ship or a battleship shooting another battleship. Seems reasonable to assume that as well considering that our last NMS easter egg was some concept art of something that appears to be battleships.

Hmmm… but now this got me thinking. Would A&S be trying to release easter eggs for us leading to a teaser trailer? Afterall, if HG wants to make sales, they need to show something to get people to buy it. So a trailer naturally would come before the release.(although they don’t have to play by those marketing rules if they don’t want to)

Sounds like getting all possible files is the key. Some code may be hidden in the file names as some have said. Maybe once we have them all we need to remove all characters that are repeated in the file names and the remaining unique characters will spell a pastebin link or otherwise.

Listening to the files is there any pattern to the beats. Number patterns? The time in seconds between strikes perhaps? Things like that.

Are we supposed to enter the code we got after we sync, got a good signal strength & sent results? I hope not because I whited mine out so that I could share it.
Edit: Also, maybe the sounds relate to the song some how. Is there any way to overlap them?

Discord is saying that each new file has a blip/tone occurring a second earlier. Each a different pitch.
Seems like they are changing the file about every hour. So it will take about 24 hours to get all the files. At least that’s how I’ve understood it so far.
Also you don’t have to be very close to the sat to hear the file. Somewhere in the red splotch works.

Is there an order to the files like this one came first then second…it would be nice to arrange them in order especially as we write down the file names, just in case they are used for something.

The timing of the blip would reveal the sequence in which the files were released. Oldest files have the latest blips, right?
