V1.33 patch notes

what is triggering them?

just me giving the armorer the dagger and agreeing to the mission, from then i launch into a world of trouble :space_invader:

My home planet changed again, from a toxic cold planet void of any life and ruled by homocidal maniacs of sentinels to en sodt climate with lots of life. The sketchy sentinels remain though :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Edit: and the base missions look like they are fixed, I have voltaic cells now

So happy that this has fixed my farmer mission. Shout out to the hard working folk at Hello Games! :grinning:

Official patch notes here:

I for myself am interested to see if ā€œFixed S-class ships having incorrect pricing and numbers of slotsā€ refers to exotics as well, and we can find them in larger slot configurations. I’ll certainly be looking for them to see if anything changed there. ^^

Either way, another solid bunch of fixes. Great job @ HG folks.

ā€œNumber of slotsā€ā€¦I wonder if that means less or more? I’ve only seen two S class ships (0 exotics) and both had so many fewer slots than my current ships I just could not justify trading.

Agree on great job. Updates this big will have problems and they’ve been quick to fix things, release patch, fix more, release patch. It’s not easy, but I’m glad I’m old school where waiting for fixes doesn’t bother me. Especially when there’s enough other stuff to do in the game that does work so I work on those.

Oh, found another nice detail:

ā€œAdded ability to cancel in progress missionsā€

So I can finally remove the ā€œuse a circuit board to repair this thing and gain not enough unitsā€ mission from my list. ^^

It also doesn’t close the dialog each time you accepted a mission.

Edit: also seems to have introduced a bug though, after completing/picking up/canceling a few missions it now reads ā€œthe korvax presents a listā€ while this guy clearly is a gek… :stuck_out_tongue: (Is fixed when you quit the dialog and talk to him again.)

I found my 2 S-class (1 exotic) during the 1.33 experimental. A fighter one, crashed on a planet) with only 16 slots and the exotic ā€œlong warpā€ on my freighter with 19 slots at 4 ou 5 millions si i can’t say if there are such ships with 30 or more slots or 100 millions value.

If you want to have a nice looking ship (or more) just buy a bad ship at your freighter for hundreds thousands, use it on a planet to find a 30+ slots crashed ship and you’ll have a 4M ship to sale for an exotic one.

Well, a 19 slot is already better than the 14~16 slot I’ve seen them at before 1.33
I guess time (and more reports from players) will tell. ^^

Ah, this happened to me when I accepted the mission then launched up into orbit directly through the atmosphere of my home planet, except I got the full 5 star wanted level upon me, immediately (last time I was five-star wanted was pre 1.3, which I videoed at the time to remind me of my terror so never to get complacent!). In panic, managed to get straight back down to base and from there, went via homebase teleport up to my local space station and flew out from there to take on the mission. All was quiet and had to actively aggravate things which depending on how I did that, would get me only either one or two stars…not sure if that was random luck or if this is the score for everyone, but is worth a try if you’re still on it…good luck!

Thanks for that, and to the other who offered advice.

I cracked it last night :cowboy_hat_face:

Had warped away and returned, seemed to have cleared the cache on whatever was causing me so much grief. I shot a single sentinel… mission done - :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Sad to say too easy now - gosh l am fickle, looking for that goldilocks experience

You can always stir up trouble raiding freighters haha

Good advice. Right now I need planet scanning to work better. I’m terrible at finding buildings on the fly (color blind), and since I have to hold down the button to accelerate, It’s impossible for me to use the right joystick to look around at the same time. I obviously need a second thumb on my right hand.

I did see one S class last night, before my PS4 updated to 1.33, but it was 10 slots less than what I had with a similar amount of technology slots. I think my current priorities are to finish getting the glyphs and setup a new base with plantings to make money. I don’t mind the drudge/repetitive work if it’s profitable and I want to upgrade the freighter and my fleet. To do that I’ll need a lot more than I have now.

The good thing is, I have goals for the game, they may be boring to some, but it gives me something to work towards…kinda like real life that way.

With the harmonization of planets between the modes, does anyone know if this affected a players ability to see bases created in other modes?

Excellent, you did it! I know what you mean though, needing a certain level of challenge for a sense of achievement. Is why I play on Normal though I understand the pull of Creative and as for Survival mode well, depending on mood I am tempted on occasion to give that a go as well…but going off my current mid-battle heart-rate, I don’t think I’m ready yet :scream:
