I know the switch 2 was just announced recently but when is it slated for launch? I’m sure we can expect another no mans sky QOL update with it’s arrival to a new platform
It will be revealed in April. No idea if launch is the same time or not
PC just got included with the 5.51 update.
Looks like PS5 just received 5.51.1 (?) and PS4 just received 5.51.
GamePass (PC & Xbox) updated to 5.51.1
Can confirm, or according to how Sony displays it. 5.051.001
The bug where new creatures aren’t recording into catalogue when scanned is still present. I remember seeing a fix mentioned for it in experimental but it’s possible it hasn’t made it into this patch yet.

@sheralmyst your daughters freedom of movement has been reinstated
She will be happy and that she has an extra week
I encountered this on my permadeath save playthrough.
The conversation where I would give an Atlas Messenger a Pristine Brain (or something) would jam. I thought it was because I hadn’t done much of the early Atlas stuff…
I’ll see how I go next time I’m on.
It’s my mam’s anniversary today, I planned to spend it avoiding everything but the Cats and No Mans Sky.
This patch is very welcomed
I actually took the opportunity to take photos of planets when their ocean disappears since I knew it was getting patched soon, soon to be a rare site.
Some of the terrain textures down there are really pertty. Will share em when I get home
Edit: still out but looks like I sent one of the oceanless photos to the ps app last night so I can share now
Cats in NMS would be awesome. I know we have some wild cat-like critters but actual cat critters would be wonderful!
They really want to add lil feline furriors but they know as well as anyone else, if we can’t get our pathfinding/animation to have them climb and nap in trees, we’d be wasting everyone’s time. Would be worse than launch day. Fix the cats, Sean.
Patch seems to have fixed exocraft placement although I didn’t see it mentioned.
Just spent some time in permadeath driving across a very open desert planet in my base level roamer picking up modules
Still working my way through the Atlas missions but taking my time… for safety reasons

Woah didn’t they just release some of these fixes to Experimental a few hours ago? That was quick.
Might get my gas fishies sooner than I was anticipating
The patch notes for yesterday’s Xbox hotfix on the no mans sky website now has tags for platforms other than Xbox, away from console but might be a patch waiting for folk
Edit: Yup, 5.54 downloading to PlayStation and PC now
Time to go see how they sorted the shallow gas fishing issue
