I wanted to let you all know about a very exciting new project that will allow community members to participate in games and other activities in a metaverse that will help an AI grow to become an AGI (human-level artificial intelligence).

This is NOT an ARG! It is an actual project that is launching and involves the Robot Sophia who you may have heard about in the news.

Oh dear, are we really doing SAO season 3? I’m afraid I’m not very optimistic for the project. I don’t expect it to lead to anything but a system with limited usabilty and a lot of uninformed armchair ethics discussions…
