Thanks for the shout! We almost had it together lol
Not sure if anyone noticed, but todayâs email implies the calendar is actually from Ghost, not Architect.
Unless this is a throwaway clue (which is entirely possible and far more likely), that implies Ghost is in another world from ours, with a different, much worse calendar. Architect seemed as confused and exasperated about the calendar as we were in that email, which implies Architect isnât in that world. But they also went to high school together and were physically in the same place once in 2013, so if Ghost is in another world they must have moved at some point since then. Or maybe there is no other world at all, and Ghost just convinced Architect weâd enjoy an incredibly obtuse way to get to the word âechoesâ.
The emails in general have Architect repeatedly telling Ghost they were correct about some advice we donât see, which implies Ghost has an intricate knowledge of the system but is running all their ideas through Architect. In which case, why get Architect involved?
I have a few normal theories and one crack theory: Ghost worked on System in the past, but doesnât have access to it anymore; Ghost doesnât want to be seen rebuilding System and is laundering their involvement through Architect; the System doesnât trust Ghost for some reason, but trusts Architect (trust seems to factor into getting permissions, judging by how we got edit access); or maybe a delusional AI that can seemingly warp reality to match its foggy memories is dangerous as hell and Ghost just doesnât want to be around that thing when it wakes up.
Or⊠Ghost is stuck inside a simulation run by System, and is using Architect to get out.
Either way, there are a lot of ways their relationship could pan out, and I hope we figure out whatâs going on between these two. Somehow, I donât think Ghost would take as kindly to our wasp/Ned-related shenanigansâŠ
Continuing the discussion from
Project Skyscraper - Timeline / Storyline Thread:
Ghost being inside the core was my theory as well. Ghost=spirit or soul. The Core if you will. just from what I have read from WT narrative, and looking at what we see here, I believe the question of Who are you if you donât remember anything is being developed. To anthropomorphically analyze it if you develop dementia and canât remember anything, the part that makes you still you is Ghost, here he just gets to talk to the doctor(architect) about the things/ways that help dementia patients remember(think the piano from The notebook)
Well it is wiki for now. I am on mobile atmâŠ
so apparently there is a wonky workaround for reordering posts and I have never done it beforeâŠI will wait on @DevilinPixy for this one. I would hate to lose your post⊠![]()
thanks for that! Iâll just stage any edits to this for now, and wait for the re-ordering whenever yâall are able to, no rush! ![]()
I have worked some magic, your post is up there in third position now: đ Project Skyscraper - Timeline / Storyline Thread - #160 by ThatBomberBoi
Carry on ![]()
Todayâs puzzle(?) has us signing up for IDs that are prime numbers, with System identifying them as âwindows.â (e.g. Iâm window 137)
Sounds like weâre reserving spots in TOWER, whatever that entails. Which might mean weâve all just signed up to have simulacra of our memories trapped in a digital purgatory foreverâŠ
Eh. There are worse fates than getting stuck in Hotel California with the MAIN FAM. ![]()
I think Iâll definitely be including my Internal_OpID with my memory timestamp and membloc integration submissions going forward ![]()
I donât think itâs clear that the windows are OpIDs at this point.
The Diagnostic that appeared before they started emailing people asking directly for a prime etc and giving the game away, kinda gave me the impression they were.
Module: Calculator
Diagnostic: Unable to set Operators Internal IDs.
Status: Origin does not define identity.
Cause: Self-awareness.
Note: The Operators have not confirmed that they are PRIME.
Worked some magic again @ThatBomberBoi , thanks for your continuous updates to tis topic, much appreciated ![]()
Seriously appreciate all the help yâall offer to keep this thread chugging along smoothly, wouldnât be the same without it! ![]()
I copied a lot of the current content of Recall Dreams here in case we needed a copy later
