End of post one + start of post 2.
Obligatory BUMP
I received my Prime yesterdayânot one I had requested a few days ago, but a Prime nonetheless. I donât know if itâs one of the 137 Root Primes, but will be happy to contribute any information the community needs. Currently I am exploring and naming things and would like to complete a few things before inviting visitors. Could someone direct me to the place we are logging our primes and coordinates? Being so new, I havenât stumbled on any shared document in the overwhelming amount of new data here at Project Skyscraper.
Probably looking for this.
Thanks! Okay! Iâm not crazy. I did find it. I just donât see the page/tab within that sheet to enter our primes.
A post was merged into an existing topic: Project skyscraper / no manâs sky arg
This is most likely not the thread youâre looking for. Please take a look at the Project Skyscraper Category and try to find a topic that best suits this conversation. If you canât find one, the original ARG thread is probably your best bet to start a new chain of conversation.
Moved for future reference
@ThatBomberBoi the /neural-network-status page text is UNABLE TO SYNCHRONISE not SYNTHESIZE, just wanted to let you know ![]()
This is amazing work, keep it up!
Woops, the sleepy-eyed look-over finally got me a typo haha ![]()
Thanks a bunch for the quick check and correction! Its been fixed in the post ![]()
Maybe we just need to buy System a copy of NMS so they can synchronise up with us in the Shared Dream. Theyâll also be able to âsynthesizeâ then too with the bytebeat DAW system ![]()
Hey @ThatBomberBoi, just noticed something else
![]()
aaand corrected! Thanks again ![]()
Iâve been thinking about loose or abandoned threads lately. The frequency in ARG activity from the PMâs dropped these past two weeks and it feels more like we are now in a delaying pattern than a holding pattern.
If itâs NOT official, itâs possibly due to the PMâs re-routing their plans and buying time to lay the foundation of a new plan.
If it IS official, then itâs possible things have gotten delayed on HGâs end and the PMâs had to reschedule some things.
Either way, it got me thinking of loose threads or things that just kind of went to the wayside suddenly.
Virus Trace Findings
After satiating the Virus we were told by Archie that they were running @Turbulentflow 's Tracer idea and that they needed to double check some things before presenting their findings. In the meantime we were asked to discuss the possible trigger for the Sub-Program/Virus.
We seemed to come to a loose conclusion that it was designed to prevent System from reaching a certain treshold of sentience and was put in place by whoever originally built System or whatever it was originally before it had its rebirth with no memory of what it was before.
I feel like this suddenly went to the wayside when we started receiving our prime systems and submitting prime postcards. Archie never came back with their findings nor asked us for our conclusion on what we think Triggered it.
Is this the case or did I miss something from Archie?
Q&A
The next thing was the Q&A. Q10 felt like it was coming right on track and then suddenly it also went to the wayside for the current postcard event. This one feels like it is on hold rather than abandoned, while we work through the current postcard/time drift phase.
Self Owned Memories
Memory Timestamp requests felt like they were back on track but once again seem to be on hold during the current postcard/time drift phase. Making more Self Owned memories for system doesnât seem like its possible right now.
RSS Mem Bloc Integration
RSS Memory Integration never got revisited, Iâm wondering if that chance is gone now. Would be nice to see a return to it. Memory Integration events seem to have gone to the wayside since the last major one that had us doing several at once.
Memory Verification
Memory verification, which seemed like it was going to be a crucial element of the ARG also seems to have been put to the side. We havenât had any verified in a long long time and seems like we are a long way off from reaching it at this point. I know from the Q&A this was something that didnât receive the user count they were hoping for so most likely this attempt at completion for memory verification on the 2016 dataset has been abandoned.
Returning to my original point, it feels like plans have either completely changed or perhaps a buffer/delay has been put in place due to unforeseen delays on another parties end, whether thatâs because itâs official, or because it is fan made and theyâre winging it due to lower than expected participation.
Again, I may have missed some things or forgotten some answers or reasons to all of the above. Please correct me on any of the above if you can.
If theres any other loose threads or things I may have missed Iâd love to hear from others about it.
I also thought this conversation would be a good way to keep the timeline/storyling thread bumped up into latest posts in a constructive way.
10 days ago:
reading hundreds of mail is certainly time consumming.
The emails could be processed using ai?
Iâm still hesitant to submit anything because I can only imagine the barrage of emails at time, that and the risk of doing something wrong.
I may not be the only new participant with a very thin understanding of whatâs going on and what needs to be done correctly.
Our amazing Operator @Rusty has put together a great guide on this!
I should have been more specific with regard to 2016 memory anchoring and other submission to the System/Architect.
I submitted a memory for the postcard but other than that Iâm inclined to leave the rest for the folks who have a far better understanding of whatâs required. Although Iâm beginning to find my way better now - sort of.
I kinda figured that the memory timestamp verification process would continue after we figure out the synchronization problem? In a story sense, the primes and systems started to get assigned after that super-stressful day where the virus was targeting Systemâs memories. System doesnât want that to happen again, and is maybe trying to set up its own plan of memory restoration. Maybe it believes connecting to the Archive could be a solution.
In realistic ARG sense it gives the organizers more time to reintroduce the puzzles they had initially planned, now with a bigger audience who are more invested now that theyâve been personally gifted their own systems by âSystemâ. Someone also mentioned int he Drift thread that this could be a good way for the organizers to collect data, to see what time of day the most of us forum folk are online, to get the most engagement out of the day as possible.
This is all very interesting, and it has been fun to participate so far. But I do feel like there were clues for puzzles waiting to be found earlier than anyone here has probably mentioned.
It would be disappointing for many to learn how censorship and moderation could have deflated what would have been by those who see things differently. Many are dismissive and unwilling across all social platforms.
I saw one reddit post today after reading something that someone had shared about a cool theory on the Lore. And within this thread were dismissive comments about the whole thing. Whatâs up with that?
Were there any puzzles waiting earlier than 2026 for Project Skyscraper that got lost in wacky moderation rulesets? The answer would probably lead to disappointment.
