No ones solved the 1912 thing yet right?

Yes m3m0ry and dr1ft1ng were found but nothing has come of it yet, it’s been lumped in with the other anomalous spellings either missing numbers or spelt with numbers, with the hopes it will spell out a string of some importance eventually.

I doubt it means anything, but there is a link for an image of a blue star on a white background

I tried reading every picture we currently got as audio, even some combinations of their channels - original picture, blue channel only, no blue, but to no avail. It sounds curious at times, but that’s about it.

EDIT: I haven’t tried rotating them before reading, though. Maybe I should, but I think in this regards I think I’m looking too deep into something that’s not yet there, since it’s all a setup at this point.

Wallace Stevens’ mother passed away in 1912 & he did write a poem called The Public Square which is pretty heaving reading but does reference “Atlas,” at one point.
Thats about all I’ve really found that even remotely links to the current goings on…

After staring at & fiddling with colours & messing about, I think the odd ‘skeleton’ in the corner of the landscape image is a top corner view of a timber roof structure partially obscured by a closer grass or reed covered roof structure.
I think there is some shiny surface that increases the amount of distortion.
I’m unsure what the panel is that looks like a face but it looks like it might be an obscured sign.
There is another sign down in the field.
Nothing else in the picture seems very destinctinctive beyond the obvious parkland near a river.

Am I the only one who sees a bus from the UK? I don’t know what the rest is, but pretty sure it’s two different objects lapped over each other

I suspect that A&S planned use of the Atlas card but that time constraints in terms of how fast players solved various puzzles mean that the planned event never happened.

It would be super cool for the upcoming ARG to use them. OTOH, with so many new players, a lot of people would be unhappy to not have one to use in the ARG.

Fun (probably useless) fact: Project Skyscraper posted sleep mode updates 16 times.

I think this might be the correct approach. I think the shadowcheck-1912 image is a spectogram image and 1912 is the frequency to isolate. I’m getting pretty far with that approach and the audio sounds more like actual words/numbers but still distorted.

Here’s the process for others to check, take the shadowcheck image rotate it so that the heavy initial line is on the left. Get red, green and blue isolated versions of it and convert that from image to audio. Re-merge?? the resulting audio clips and then make an attempt to isolate on frequency 1912 or just 1.912 kHz.

Hah, forgot I can just upload the images.

I just wanted to chime in and say I’m excited to see where this goes. I’m quite new to No Man’s Sky, but getting to see this story growing and shaping as incredibly fascinating. I dont know how much I’ll have to add to the conversation, but I’m excited to follow along.

Lurkers are welcome to lurk! :joy:

I’m not great at crypto and that level puzzle solving either, but keep up with fundings. Enjoy!

The initial post about this at reddit already has 15.7K views, though slowing down.

Was there any mention of “seconds” or something like that previously? Just to know what time we should stretch the audio.
I tried once again the blue channel only, rotated the image (shadowcheck-1912) and set the upper limit to 1912 Hz. It sounds like steps now

Here’s a link to the audio I ended up getting with that process: https://www.image2url.com/r2/default/audio/1779328179064-d1094bdf-0e12-4aa4-9f17-2497c21032de.mp3

I did manage to find a file hosting site. If this post gets yoinked since it’s a different link, that’s fine.

I’m not sure if there is a specific length or not. I tried just getting something that sounded in the range of normal human rhythm.

I got a similar thing when isolating each color image. Could make some cool beats tbh.

Sounds like a didgeridoo :musical_notes:

A didgeridoo is an Aussie thing.
Sean grew up in the Aussie outback, with nearest family kilometers away. He loved looking up at the star-filled night Sky. The original feeling of alone in a vast universe can from that background.

Reminder: CSD has a Discord site, which might have better responsiveness than here (I am experiencing slow display when accessing this topic).

Also, the Game Detectives Discord got hot on the last ARG. ??
