Project skyscraper / no man's sky arg

I totally agree. The OP is as transparent a “come on” as I’ve ever seen.

Not necessarily a bad thing - It could be a good ARG - but there’s no suggestion it’s NMS related, and we’re alreaady chest-deep in our own ARG.

100% agreed here too

Also this is a bit more subjective, but to me, the writing style doesn’t feel… professional? It feels like a novice ARG writer more than what we’ve seen with Project Skyscraper.

Nothing wrong with being a novice of course, but I personally don’t think it’s connected, even if it’s meant to appear to be.

Besides all of that, we already have a clear avenue of communication with our PM.

After all of the craziness from Sec Log 091216: recon-protocol (Solved), @the_architect also dropped a pretty big bunch of unverified pages. Despite the last drop being entirely in-situ, I added all of these as seperate tabs on the Memory Engine Tracker, so anyone looking for events on these dates can pre-stage their submissions over on the tracker as well!

What was the IP used for the telnet conection ? I tried with the one from recalldreams.dev but as it is a WP page it is, thankfully, impossible to use telnet there.

It wasn’t a true telnet connection, it was an interactive script running on the Project Skyscraper site (just a web page).

Verified memories in date order with corresponding six seasons dates (weekday 1 = the first working day of a week)

Counting weekday 1-4 = 1, off days and celebrations = 0:

Binary: 1110110 = 118

ASCII: v

… Could mean verified?

so disapointing. the log was about routing, port 23, ID and psw but finally it wasn’t a real network job… I was too pro for this one then. yesterday i did a “tracert recalldreams.dev” by curiosity and it was impossible, so when I saw the “Routing table updated” i retried and had a result so it was normal, in my mind, that was the good direction to try the telnet.

In the other hand, having a website open for telnet is a weakpoint, but that’s not so hard to have a VM for an ARG working like a sort of honeypot.

Six seasons overlap analysis with unverified memory blocs in ascending timestamp order: Counting weekday 1-4 = 1, off days and celebrations = 0: Binary: 101111111101 ; Hexadecimal: BFD. Conclusion: Bidirectional Forwarding Detection identified in system. (?)

Hi all, been AWOL because of some fun work rotas, can someone give me a quick update of where we are at and if we have any outstanding objectives?

I’ve got a week of leave coming up after tomorrow so can start actually contributing again :saluting_face:

You could start here

Things are coming together. The WP site looks ready to do its thing…
I think everyone is sleeping and getting ready for the next phase

Second website started to show activity, Vector_Cmdr had a poke around, this caused a sec log to appear saying it noticed this activity, and cut off access to Tower. Ghost emailed archie being like WUT!? Then System emailed Vector_Cmdr saying it needed his help to get access back to the tower.

GGF made a site thats like a wayback machine for PSS, lets you view the webpage as it appeared on different dates. Within two hours, a sec log appeared discussing this mirror.

A puzzle appeared early this morning that was essentially geared towards Vector_Cmdr, required knowledge of themselves to log in and crack the password, as well as their mad brain to solve it.

Then another email from Archie to Ghost explaining it was him that cut off access to the tower and was panicked to learn the System had reached out to us directly.

I think I got it all there… Might be missing something but these are the important threads.

And to think we nearly lost him in a field  How would we have coped?

Might be a bit of a self-plug, but there’s a thread up here on ETARC about all of the events in the ARG recorded chronologically, if you’d ever like to catch up again!

Haha, that would be my fellow cmdr, @thewingcmdr.
If I was driving to Tucson I’d need some kind of powerful car-boat!

Unless you guys were planning a trip down under to kidnap me and dump me in a field?

Good thing you have that security feed as a deterrent for any kidnappings. Would be a shame if the feed was actually some sort of bluff or trickery

Has anybody tried anything with the new unverified dates? As of the last 2020 date, we have 16…..

Maybe he snuck in the next puzzle?
