Project skyscraper / no man's sky arg

I remember the search for this, and its conclusion.

The album itself, is called Skyscraper. Not just this track.

Even more interesting is the original album was only released on casette and sold at shows during tour. The found artefact that brought it to the internets attention was also on a cassette, recorded from a live radio station airing.

I would clock these all down to pure coincidence as the cassettes existed as a Waking Titan trope long before this songs origin was found or the search for it even began. Radio stations were also a key factor for Waking Titans early days. And of course, this forum is the Edison Township Amateur Radio Club

And also because NMS was referred to as hello games “skyscraper” before the idea of what that game would be, was even conceived, and before the engine it was built on, Project Skyscraper, had ever begun.

Either way, a fun and eerie coincidence, I keep getting spooked by little things like this and projecting the flavourings of our current obsession on to them too

Or @the_architect has done a great deal of research and planning…

That’s 7 years of planning and getting the internet to resurface and track down the origin of some lost media…

Maybe this ARG is actually for this bands long awaited second album :joy:

If Dave Lee Roth turns up, they may have gone a little too far.

(for ref, he also had an album called Skyscraper - but I think that was a reference to climbing).

Second album released on May 22, 2026. The day after the “MULTIPLE_UNCOORDINATED_CONNECTION_ATTEMPTS”

I want to emphasize that it was a curious thing that’s happening at the same time. Like the guys in yellow and the “Backrooms” movie. I don’t want to confuse you travelers.

Maybe we should double check FEX weren’t playing a show in London the other night

11 posts were split to a new topic: Cryptic Story Investigation

Damn, 9:30pm EST and no skyscraper updates, social posts, etc.

I have a feeling we already have the pieces we need to proceed to the next step, it’s just a matter of fitting them together.

Do we have to offer @Klaxk as a sacrificial lamb?

I don’t know what needs to be done but all I know is that prior to being mentioned, I had only requested 2 memory blocks. One we believe will not be added as 710 and I both submitted requests for the foundation of the Galactic Hub. I believe the timestamp of the release date of NMS is what caused the weak signal to appear

Has anybody suggested the creation of the Galactic Atlas to the Timestamp Retrieval log? Seems to have been a relatively quiet couple days, no?

So we know that in a couple days memory blocs should be added. My conversation may give us more insight to the unrecognized pattern that Ghost mentions.

Surely this part from the new email is a new clue for something? I gotta go make dinner now, so apologies for the hasty translation in the Email Thread. The deciphering tool, was placing al lthe paragraphs in reverse order for some reason, and then this was all in french, so I hope I rearranged it correctly.

Kinda eery seeing 2013 when I submitted the 2013 reveal trailer date to the mem bloc today :eyes:

Also these old school chums, they haven’t seen each other in person in 13 years going by this conversation.

It’s interesting that there were social media posts expected this morning, that never came.
