That doesn’t clear all cache issues tho. Just basic cache but then cookies also has its own local storage that takes a lot longer to refresh sometimes. The best way I found it ctl shift R after you delete your cache history (and in very weird circumstances f12 application workers as well)

I think the code is a book-based cipher, the type where the scrambling key is some word from a page from the book. Since our mysterious characters The Architect and Ghost chose a code from their school years (they were 17 in 2002, so they’re in their forties now) to communicate while exposed, the key to find the right page in the book must be the Da Vinci aphorism (maybe a reference to Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code?), OR the words “MIND CAGE” and “SKY”.

Didn’t find any digital version of this book, unfortunately, but found the table of contents here.

No mention to The Swappers, altough. But there’s a game named “The Collage ATLAS”… and Sable, wich reminds very much of NMS.

@Ekimo1920 getting shared their own page made me spit out my water that’s brilliant

Just to be sure, you’re aware that you sent the owner of that site a link to it, right? :face_with_tongue:

Mb lol, but despite this ultimate failure of social interactions (/j), I found the “mind cage” poem from the indie game ; " She was made of flesh, not stone. And yet her face was carved into the cliff. I pressed my hands against the rock, But there was no space between us. " it is read by in-game stone statues called the watchers if this makes any sense, let me know

@cjr If you haven’t already, check this topic, where we specifically discuss the puzzle we received earlier today: New posting: May.12, 2002 - Code

Oh thanks, totally failed to notice this parallel thread! Sorry for polluting this one with a lot of obviousnesses.

@cjr Don’t worry about it. Welcome to the forum, it’ll take a bit to familiarise yourself around here. This was the very first topic since it all began as well, which got pretty polluted already. Hence the attempt to start new topics for more specific discussion.

Do we have any idea what’s on (if there even is) page 17 in the book from the image?

I have 18 and 19 - but not 17.

In other news, I found something interesting: going over the homepage, the live connections section has the id of “online iterations”, bringing to mind the player character in NMS. Not sure what this means, but I found it interesting. Thoughts?

SYSTEM thinks of us as iterations.
