PS5 appears to have updated, but for PS4, none of the 4 regions I can see have updated (EU, US, Asia, JP).
Not sure why, but hopefully this will happen soon.

Tried that a few times. Even did an anomaly mission and left to do a living ship quest while I was at it and it still hasnā€™t popped up. Restarted game twice too. Might be a bug.

How far has your settlement progressed?

Not 100% sure but im not in debt and have maybe about 12+ buildings constructed? Im assuming thats more than half-way as it looks pretty crowded already.

Hmmmā€¦I have progressed maybe about the sameā€¦I reported the spot I am hung up on now. Doing the same. No matter what, I cannot get the legs installed. I see others have though so not sure what the issue is unless the settlement needs to be completeā€¦

Finished this story soon after the update without much issue.

If i recall you have to open the piece to build it, and examine the missing piece and then the log changes to get the engine from Sentinelsā€¦you just pick a fight until 4th wave and kill new walker. Get part. Unless this is a different part. Once the mission has started I donā€™t think settlement progression factorsā€¦but I never checked mission files.

Yeah. The Expedition will relate to Exobiology. I had expected it would relate more directly to the update - Sentinels.

OTOH ā€¦ " allowing Sentinels to hunt the player within buildings and in caves ." Arrgh! :smiley:

Hmmm, I have the part pinned in my log and I have destroyed stacks of sentinelsā€¦did you fight them at your settlement or someplace else?

What do you mean by that? It shows the ship inventory first even if youā€™ re not on the ship? I recall ending up in the wrong inventory several times but I didnā€™t spend much time, need to keep an eye out for patterns.

I am not sure aquiring the hardframe engine is supposed to be this difficult. After destroying all waves of sentinels, they turn off for a period of time. I have done this on all 5 planets in the system I am in. Still no part. Just stacks of walker brains and glass

Finally got my mission to start. Warped about a dozen times. Spent time on maybe a dozen planets. Went back to doing the quests for base building as I am playing on a new save and never got around to base building other than doing a few tasks for the scientist and learned the circuit board recepie even though I already knew it. After some time I was contacted in space that my settlement was under attack and the mission started. Wasnt even in the same system as my settlement. Not entirely sure what triggered the mission.

As for the parts needed to build the mech, I had a hard time too but I noticed that after destroying a walker, there is a piece left behind that you can destroy and grants you a mech part. Not sure which one it is but it usually got stuck on top of the legs that stayed standing up after destroying the walker. Did you destroy that extra part?

Well I thought I fired at everything and was looking for anything that would highlight as harvestable. Will keep tryingā€¦:face_exhaling: thank goodness for the mech AI companion
