A little over 13 gig for PS4.

However, I see no apparent changes nor a new expedition.

Last time, it didn’t launch until several hours after the download became available.

So what is up with the large file size? My pitiful internet can’t keep up. Still several weeks away from fibre optic install… :unamused:

Don’t blame us. You’re the one who thought Transylvania would be “romantic”. “Traditional” you said: “Backward” we said. “Charming” you said: “Primitive” we said. But you wouldn’t listen, oh, no.

Now you’re stuck with internet that won’t work until you shovel coal into the boiler. And you don’t like it.

And don’t get me started on the vampires…

But once up & running, it does produce an impressive lightning arc display & inspires one to yell maniacally, "IT’S ALIVE…IT’S ALIVE

Initial reports suggest the last update was primarily concerned with DLSS - which is only likely to be of interest to people with very high end graphics capabilities (ie not me).

oh it added reflexions too. On ultra, it’s sublime. those glass cuboid/biodome are really nice. and ground in space station, that mirroring effect!

I’ll file this as the “eye-candy update”. Not very exciting to me, playing the game underspecced and not being a very visual person in the first place, but complaining would be rude now that they’ve been at it for 5 years without charging me anything beyond the buying price.

I’m assuming the Space Station Core will play a role in the next expedition

That was my thought as well.

It would make sense for that to be the source of station override devices (unless someone has found one already.)

It does look like they are a hook for some new mechanics involving space stations, yes. The most obvious one would be to be able to own one, since I can’t see sabotage having any interesting side effects. I’ll definitely be looking forward to how that pans out.
