Can you kill Artemis? I stuck him in the simulator. Which means it is kinda like he is dead only…not…:thinking:

You can’t kill him, but you can not stick him into the simulator and let him die.

Wasn’t Artemis already dead? At least, as far dead as you can be when you get stored in the World of Glass?

Can you kill someone who’s already dead? Perhaps, in this universe, you can.

I thought in the sim he could go on ‘existing’ and in the end of the story line, he realizes he is in a sim but is okay with it. He says there is plenty to see and do in this new world he is in and that is how his story ends.

Yes, in the sim. But you have the choice of uploading him there or letting him die.

According to any media involving the undead ever, yes, you can! :smile:

Yes. I chose to put him in the sim. I have played through the storyline 3 times and I have never chosen to let him die.

Looking over my posts, I realise that I had a very ambiguous formulation in there:

This could be interpreted in two ways:
You can NOT {stick him into the simulator … }, the meaning of which would be denying the possibility to upload Artemis to the simulation.
What I meant however was:
You CAN {not stick him into the simulation … }, meaning to confirm the possibility of not performing said action.

Putting him in the sim also confronts you with the moral dillema of telling him the truth or keeping up the facade that you’ll one day meet. I’d definitely welcome more of these moral quandries to the game in future.

  • Fixed an issue where Big Ball would get stuck in the refiner output (any previously broken refiners will now be clear)
  • Fixed an issue where all crystals would be called ‘Unknown’
  • Fixed an issue where the tutorial mission would not advance if the player collected a Hermetic Seal too early
  • Fixed an issue where the mission flow would halt when instructed to build a base for Apollo’s contact if the base already had an Overseer but no large-scale rooms
  • Fixed some crash issues in exocraft races
  • Fixed a hang issue when accessing a mission dialogue at the same time as the mission deadline
  • Fixed a hang issue when accessing the Starship Communicator at the same time as exiting the cockpit
  • Fixed an issue where ancient ruins and crashed freighters could sometimes spawn floating above the surface of planets
  • Adjusted the health of corrupted Sentinels to make them more tough than regular Sentinels
  • Fixed an issue where the advanced mining laser was not required to mine advanced substances
  • Fixed an issue where killing another player with melee attacks would result in an incorrect chat message
  • Addressed a number of photosensitivity issues around the Portal and the enter/exit ship effects
  • Fixed an issue where the terrain manipulator beam would not render on Multi-Tools with one pre-installed at purchase
  • Fixed an issue where resource names could appear multiple times on the planetary readout from space
  • Fixed an issue with collision on some medium-sized rocks
  • Fixed an issue with the Pocket Reality Generator not being buildable indoors
  • Disabled the Analysis Visor while on ladders

Just realized that my blue sky and grass are back on my main base planet. They turned red after the last update now it is back to normal. :+1:
Can confirm that an Ancient Ruin on this same planet, which had been floating since I discovered it, is now on and in the ground.

Ooh, I’ll have to recheck some of my gas harvester planets :crossed_fingers:. The pretty alien blue & orange lush ones changed to just green & more green in Visions :neutral_face:. [Update: Nope, still green… it’s not easy being that.]

So far in this update I’ve only noticed that most of my specialists are broken… again. Most no longer give missions, just wanting to be left alone. The exo guy mission dialog happens, but no mission is activated. No amount of deleting and rebuilding terminals seems to fix them this time.

Also they changed the white ship flash to black… so… yeah.

I left to visit my Freighter and when I returned to the planet, my sky was red again…strange. I will have to see if it changes color during the day.
