The group responsible for the attack warning that impacts National Weather Service (NWS) locations across the country is Veterans on Patrol, an anti-government, anti-immigration, Christian nationalist organization founded in 2015.
I am confused. Shouldn’t they be more pro-government right now that the government kind of is on their side? But I guess “The executive is part of the government” might be too high a concept for people that don’t know what weather radars are used for… 
Well the current admin is still in the process of cutting departments. I guess they think they are helping out
But bottom line, these sorts feel empowered right now. Like the government is on their side. So they are becoming more brazen and life for the rest of us becomes a little less safe.
I worry about what happens if storm chasers start getting attacked. Will they start arming themselves?
This kind of stuff is getting worse by the day.
Aaaand now I wonder why nobody has ever made a movie about that. Sounds awesome. On screen, that is…

At the Liverpool FC victory parade yesterday, a man drove his car into the crowd of onlookers, injuring at least 65 people.
The incident was just a couple of miles from here. My daughter, son in law, and grandsons, were in the crowd. Thankfully they’re OK.
Way too close to home. So glad they are ok.

We can lay the blame for this one securely on our own doorsteps. Ukraine is fighting for its survival - whilst NATO and the other Western governments stand and watch.
The combined Western powers could have driven Russia out of Ukraine, but we chose not to. Many countries could have supplied Ukraine with armaments, but chose not to. How dare we complain, when Ukraine fights back with the only means at its disposal?
If Ukraine falls, it won’t be Putin’s fault - it will be ours - because we saw the problem, and did nothing.
