Is it possible that you’ve got your computer set up so it doesn’t show hidden files?
I just tested that, and it made the whole \Appdata\Roaming\HelloGames path disappear.
Just something to think about.
NA that ain’t the issue, I’ve been working on/building computer since 1984
while most of the people where wern’t born!!!

@kpd157 @MacForADay Like I said, I have no problem with data being cycled, if done without issue, which sadly appears to not be quite the case. My discoveries do indeed still exist on the HG server, although getting this to show, requires discovering all over again, to only then be shown again as it should. In case of my missing planet for example, after scanned in space, continued to show ‘undiscovered’. Only once I landed, did it correctly update the info. Not even sure if this should be considered a bug, it will fix itself without additional issues.
However, this is not about discoveries specifically, I can live with that. I merely used it as an example to explain without going into detail, how most likely something similar had been cause of corrupting my save file. All object data, for previously charged Portals, Hydrophonic Trays, Harvesters, and Miners, is correct, but they appear to no longer be referenced correctly. This is an issue and will not fix itself, at least not in my case. I hope that somewhat explains …

I have to agree it is weird how Hello Games does all this “Magic” with the databases 
Makes me think this could be one of the only online Games where a person trying to figure out how it all works would be unable to.
I guess it will have to be put in the “To Be Discovered” pile of facts for No Man’s Sky

Working with steam and HG got the sync system to work again.
Able to keep my main game. but lost all others.
Able to once again sync games in system.
I am presently, not working due to doctor’s orders.
I will play and communicate as much as I can.
If the pain in my back allows it.
TIs the life of shingles.
meds put me to sleep.
I will have to start over in survival. had found an S weapon 24 slot at a post.
oh that was sweet.
Time to rest later be safe and find EMILY!

Since I’ve gotten the system working again.
I notice there is only one save.
not good
I am also wondering about protecting my game if a prob occurs and if I name something incorrectly as in the past I have gone Back a save and renamed the planet.
Just read that about you having shingles…I had one just one only and thought it was the worse pain ever… cant imagine what several would be like … dreadful hope it clears soon

I used to skip save towers near points of interest previously.
Now they are my best friends.
