Unfortunately if this is like the other special planets I have seen, it is like a barren planet with those special items only (bubbles, grinding machines, the big hoops, ect.).
The best I could do is keep my base at a neighboring planet in the same system.
Thanks. Its almost perfect. Plenty of resources, big animals, pleasant weather. Sentinals are hostile because of gravitino balls though.
Not sure about that. My visits to these worlds was brief. I had to do the portal part of the artemis line multiple times because it dropped me in an impossible spot. (Landed on an island and they wanted me to swim 12 minutes to my ship!) I did find plutonium there, but nothing else. If you count those weird electric trees though, one of them was quite lush.
I am not sure about that either 
. Its just what I have seen thus far.
I would like to be wrong. Putting a base on one of the new rare planet types would be enjoyable.
Btw, do you (or anyone) have a picture or link for the “weird electric trees” that you mentioned? This is the first I’ve heard about those.

I found a planet like that last night! I believe it was a regular G type (yellow) system.
It looked very strange from space:
And looked even stranger once I landed.
Resources were very sparse, so plan ahead before you land.
Looks like a Dyson Sphere from space.
The Mechanical Spheres planet that I posted before was at a green star. (Here it is again)
My wife just discovered this Bubble planet at a red star a few minutes ago:
She also told me that one of the moons to the bubble planet was also the mechanical sphere type.

Anyone find the “glass world” yet? Does it even exist in-game? My best guess is that if it does, it requires a secret portal address.
I discovered a planet that was discover by a player back in 2016. When i enter my ship and fly a little around and land again, the other player who actually discover this planet, was sort of deleted from the system and I was now the new discover of that planet.
From now on, I will delete all players name from there discovers of a planet 
Glitch? I think Atlas aka S.M. made a deal with the dev…anyways fun so far
