Music Tastes among ETARCers?

If it makes you feel any better, in the last three years I’ve bought tickets for 5 or so gigs and this is the first one I made it out to.

Only because it was for my dad’s birthday.

99.9% of the time I’m right there with you in hermitville.

I really should reframe that photo as Meeting Santa Claus and his brother.

The Santa ornament in the background really sells it.

I would say we should all go on a group visit to Mad Hatters Hermitville but that would defeat the purpose of it.

But whose to say I haven’t already begun a network of underground tunnels on your land?

At least he wouldn’t have to worry about us over-staying our visit

I think a room full of hermits could be an interesting social experiment

I think the first time hermits tried that was around 2600 years ago and they accidentally invented Philosophical Studies.

We’ve been too afraid to try again ever since.

This song always brings me back to those first ten years of my life where Arcades were a dying but still present fixture in day to day life.

It’s like all the best “Attract Music” from 90s arcade cabinets condensed into one hyper focused beam.

Tonights kitchen clean up grooves were brought to you by Donny Benet.

Now this is something you can sweep to

Edit: Dec 4th,

Music to sneak late night pizza to

Not sure what’s more impressive. His homemade theremin or his collection of bowties

Listening to an album/band i have not listened to since i was 17 and I forgot how much i loved this song. Still goes hard on that chorus progression :sign_of_the_horns: their goofiness is also infectious, especially the bass player.

This album came to my attention via youtube reccomendations panel.

The artwork reminded me of a friend from school who I think about often. Then the album also rocked.

Its an imaginary soundtrack for a non existenr movie adaptation of a very real book series. Made by a one-off japanese super group in the 70s.

When I heard it had gone back into production I jumped on it.

Came today in the mail and I’m overjoyed, look at this thing!!

I am such a fan of stop motion. My brother did one of some pills our mom had on the table. The March of the Acidophilus. He made music for it too.

Is that online anywhere we can see it? I’d love to see and hear your brothers music too. Will it restore my gut biome?

Funnily enough there was also a story thread in that Chair Company show I was plugging, the son who is also a brother gets really into it and one of the last scenes in the series is him showing his mam and sister what he made. Synchronicity

I will ask if he still has it

Edit: nope. Too bad but it has been a few years. Before he had any social media set up. Will try to get pics of the guitar he made from pallet wood.

Maybe should be in the creative art thread but here is the guitar he made

Your brother is so cool. Wanna swap? And no you can’t know anything about my brother before the trade. Do not get me started on that asshole :joy:

I think they must have got mixed up at the hospital because I also had a nikon camera, and I have guitars and we both clearly have a DAW setup. I’ve been known to also own chairs… My brother does none of that. We just have the owning chairs thing in common.
