This reminds me of another German song about robots that I love:

One of the biggest surprises to me for no man’s sky announce trailer was the use of 65dos. I was a fan of the band and even more shocked to find out months later they’re doing the ost.

With Light No Fire we have a track from Alt J’s second album and I used to be a really big fan (I did not like their subsequent albums upon release, been years since I listened to them proper).

This was the first alt J song I ever heard

I’m wondering did Sean listen to their second album a lot when prototyping the game, the same way he said he’d listen to 65dos while prototyping no man’s sky.

When looking at the trailer for light no fire, one song from that second album (which Hunger of the Pine is also on) immediately came to mind.

Warm foothills.

Also pretty sure their second album came out around 2015-2016 so it would have been there to plant the seed of sound in the games earliest days as a thought project.

Fun part of the song, it’s a cut up from many different artists. Can you hear any of your own favourite vocalists? I know I can hear Conor Oberst at times <3

DragonForce did a song for Beat Saber. Here’s me doing it on Expert Mode:

Huh. I know the song, but I had no idea you were this good at beat saber. I confess I watch the one or other episode of Otterworldly every now and then…

This is definitely one of those that you’d essentially have to slow down for spectators to have any chance of realizing what’s going on

Thanks! I finally became able to beat Expert+ levels earlier this year. This is only Expert mode on this song though, no way I’m beating this one on Expert+
