Very likely, yes, especially knowing all the details about those Bobble Heads
Hmmmm, well I’ve spent 3 or 4 hours jumping, and exploring planets and jumping and exploring more planets (found some nice ones for bases one day) . A few black holes as well. Many light years from my base systems. Still no trigger.
I suppose there is no rush.
You do have the Void Egg in your inventory, right?
Waiting for all the glyphs to be revealed just through playing can take a looong time. I’ve had only 2 triggered while crossing about 20’000 years. And they were not in sequence. I got one and 5. There’s also not some fixed limit after how many jumps a glyph triggers, seems to be very random, but not very common.
There is no mission added to the log.
Considering all that, I think we are meant to work together and use the glyphs even though noone may have received all of them individually. This thing is going down ARG style, not in-game mission style.

Heh, yep.
I just got the egg and the first transmission right after my first warp to another system
“Devilin, at first try? Admit it, you bribed them!” - “No!” - “'Course you did.” - “Aw…”
(this should transcendent language and culture)
Even tried to surround the egg with heat capacitors in inventory… lol!
Running out of ideas!
Hmmm… considering there’s really just a teaser text as a reward for the whole thing, maybe we are in fact supposed to wait for all glyphs to be revealed through game… They might indeed be trying to time it close to a release.
My take on it(im probably wrong): It does apear to to just an easter egg to something more. SM posted an egg. Then a GIF of gordan ramsey discovering that its raw, followed by an egg being cooked. Sounds like a process that the real endgame of this all isnt yet “done” but its almost ready to be served to us hungry folks.
Also. Why did they put their studio name into the game? That would break the 4th wall. This also brings me to believe its more of an easteregg to a future update that true fans would look into and find together. If this is the case. I liked it.
…and I love how Sean is just continually Egging us on!
Louis de Funès, wow, that has been a while
Just out of curiosity, how did you get this sequence to trigger? Because I portaled in after receiving two glyphs, and it didn’t trigger for me.
I got the egg about two hours ago and it just now triggered for me (message SEVEN). It triggered on a warp. My forth since getting the egg but the first since moving out of psvr and also turning on multi-player. I don’t know that either of those had anything to do with it.
Might require being in your ship, as it is a comms message?
Simplified conditions for the D_EGG_SYSTEM
stage:
<Property name="MissionPlayerLocation" value="InShipInSpace" />
<Property name="MissionPlayerLocation" value="InShipInPlanetOrbit" />
<Property name="MissionPlayerLocation" value="InShipLanded" />
Oh, I was in my ship, and I was in space.
But I just checked the system, and it looks different. It’s probably because I’m not in Euclid. I’m not an experienced portal traveller, are portal addresses galaxy-specific? I kinda assumed they were global… Going to my base in euclid to check now.
That sure explains, because yes, portal addresses are galaxy specific. When in another galaxy, you end up in a matching system for that galaxy, but not Euclid as is required for this mission.
Considering many have been receiving random transmissions, you may not have received ‘THE KEY’ transmission, which specifically mentions EUCLID.
Greetings fellow Travelers - new to the conversation but have been following along - this thread brought me to this forum and it looks like I’ll be staying around!
I warped through several systems, landed, orbited, etc and didn’t receive my first communication until I went to the Egg Planet and landed. Something like “Listen Traveler” and then it gave the portal coordinates mentioned in early text of this thread (deciphered into the Egg Planet’s).
Given the base located at the South Pole’s (underwater) lore mentions a precursor species - seems to me this is the beginning of a new species release:
Yeah, that did the trick. I also found out that not all planets have monoliths anymore. I never even realised since I never really had a need to look for them since forever.
The underwater ruins just give you the next piece of lore in the chain. So what you got from that ruin depends entirely on how far along you were with that.
I warped in my ship straight to the system where the Abandoned Building is. I didn’t even go through the process of finding the glyphs,
and @DevilinPixy is correct. Even if you use a portal and the glyphs, you will not get the message until you get into your ship and take off.
As for the glyph messages, they seem to be very random. Some get them quickly and some slowly, they also seem to come out of order. Like seven may be first and then three.
