I was aware of the pictures and sound files (though I think I found something new on the audio clip 2, the one “silence”, or at least I never hear before), but what was their purpose ?
Because now with the message from Mercury process, at least for me, the only datadump that I know is theses, so I guess that there is something to find and email mercury@atlas-65.com.
So, if this is the data dump, it looks like we missed something, prompting the message from Mercury to “look again”. There are several things that look like URL fragments and/or login info. (Runs to try all the “code” looking text in the Myriad app…)
It seems strange that all the phones would have those exact photos, especially the last few. The rest are most likely stock images. Unless, the plastic holographic pyramid reveals something with those.
Plus, aren’t the books are still in play?
A better view of the Skype message with the Dev Kits
Skype Messages
On May 22 around 19:00 UTC, the following text messages were received through the Skype app on the phones:
From: Dr. Nadeau
I don’t have much time to talk.
Am in contact with Zheng. I may have an opening into WARE’s medical docs but i’m not sure yet.
I’ll contact you again soon.
Update on Arnaud’s condition:
Vital signs have been very unstable during last week. Heart rate and blood pressure stabilized for two days.
HR: 57-62 bpm
BP: 110 / 70
From: Mercury Process
MERCURY PROCESS DIRECTIVE 16.B:
Carefully review the datadump. Send all analyses and findings to mercury@atlas-65.com
See, it’s this part that leads me to believe it’s not tied to the Dev Kits. We need to find some other significance in those dumps and email Mercury, which should trigger a response if successful. I have tried to inspect and break down what I think happened, leading up to this below. Please let me know if I am way off base.
There are four PDFs. The first is a transcript of Arnaud as he enters the W/AREspace and is sucked in. Could be something in there if we can completely decipher all the transcriptions.
The second contains mention of sound related processes and is where the links to the lullaby, modem handshake and breathing sound files came from. Some of these files are just called “datadump” so it would fit with the description from Mercury.
The third and fourth PDFs contain the links to the photos from French looking train stations and surrounding countryside views.
There are two bits of data that might be significant in the form of these strings:
Y2x5cC5pdA==
ZHJvcGJveA==
I don’t think these were used anywhere, even though they look significant. I have tried using them in conjunction with Pastebin, Dropbox and Clyp with no success. I think the remaining discoveries from these “dumps” are what we need to email to garner a response from Mercury Process, independant of the W/ARE puzzles.
Hold onto that thought. Once all the Dev Kits have been delivered, we will know more. I keep a list of unused info for just that kind of thing. There are a number of unused things right now. So excited to see where it all leads. If we don’t get a new dump then we will know to go back. Thanks for checking into it.
Alright, I’ve been trying to follow along with the dev kit arrivals but I think I have missed out on some of the action, so fill me in if I missed anything. I have tried to reconstruct the conversation. There are still some pieces missing but this is what I have so far. Let me know if someone already did this
Techie - “W/ARE Tech support, how can I help you?”
Man - "Hello, uhm… I would like to have a follow-up on an incident related to your headset.”
Techie - “On your W/ARE device?”
Man - “No, on my computer.”
Man - “6 - E - 6 - 9?”
Techie - “I see you emailed our department yesterday about the same inquiry. Do you still suffer from the previously mentioned symptoms?”
Techie - “Were your sleeping patterns the same as usual?”
Techie - “Do you have an approximate amount of time?”
Man - “Uhm, ten hours tops. This is very unusual to me.”
Techie - “Can you identify where this feeling is coming from?”
Man - “Right side mostly, arms and legs.”
Techie - “Thank you for taking the time to update us on your condition. I see that you’ve ordered some of our exclusive blood thinners, did you follow the prescription instructions?”
Man - “Actually, I took an Aspirin, went to bed, and it disappeared over night.”
Techie - “Thank you for your patience. I relayed a quick recap of your symptoms to our internal specialist, and your condition seems to be related to a mild case of brain fatigue. We suggest you take pauses between play sessions so your mind relaxes. If your symptoms persist, we suggest you consult a health specialist to make sure you don’t have any underlying conditions that could interfere with the headsets performance.”
Man - “Alright, thank you very much.”
