Think about it like this.
The general consensus before 1.3 dropped was that ALL that 1.3 would entail would only be story and portals.
Was that the main focus on the update? Yes. But what else came packaged along:
The beginnings of MP.
More biomes, more and better higher res textures, more details like all the subroutines and such with Sentinels when u scan them.
A Mission Board, more lore, better visuals, better in flight atmospherics, low flight with no mods.
Terrain Manipulation, enhanced visor, more upgrades to both the visor and suit.
Tech and Cargo slots for Suit, Tech slots for Ships.
Warpable Freighters, Crashed Freighters, Better Pirate Warning Mesaging, being able to pay off pirates so you dont ALWAYS have to fight or run.
And on and on.
Exotic planet types, almost somehow forgot those too, lol.
And that was only 5 months…
And if no delays occur, or even if they do, it will be pretty much 1 year to date that Hg has been working on NEXT.
Sorry if i piled on, im saying all this for me too
