Oh and I missed the Crew 12 launch:
You will have to move from patching the jacket to patching a pair of pants and then some sneakers

That they apparently went from âWe have a hydrogen leakâ in Artemis I to âLetâs fix it on paper by redefining what a leak isâ in Artemis II fills me with trepidation for this flight once moreâŠ
I mean, yes, itâs hydrogen. Itâs the smallest atom, it canât not leak. But during the space shuttle era, a âleakâ meant a hydrogen concentration of more than 4% in the surrounding air - Just about the limit for potential combustion. And under this definition, the space shuttle did not leak.
For Artemis, a leak is defined as a hydrogen concentration breaching 16%. And under this definition, they still managed to leak in the first rehearsal! In other words, this thing is leaking more than 4 times the hydrogen that STS was leakingâŠ
I hear ya!
Wet dress went so well, the crew has gone back into quarantine which means a possible launch in 2 weeks.
Not so well, apparently. It looks like the march launch window has been scrubbed, theyâre preparing for rollback. While the rehearsal went well, it looks like they were unable to repressurize the helium system after the rehearsal.
At least theyâre not taking any chances and are communicating very transparently and clearly. Isaacman might turn out a more competent administrator than expected.
The crewâs safety comes first.
Itâs just sad that all nations dropped the ball and all vehicles have been either legacy or experimental for ⊠how many decades?
Artemis launch window has shifted into April 2026 and they were told they can bring their mobile phones to take pictures and videos. Like how samsung takes pictures of the moon today, who gonna believe any of it anyways? And humans wonât be walking on the Moonâs surface until at least 2028. They should reduce the time between launches by then too.
Human feet onto Mars missions have basically been canceled until better fuel transfer tech exists. Because of this, the Moon will be the main focus for probably another 50 more years⊠50 more years to delay the release of all the cool tech earthlings are not allowed to use yet.
Maybe they found Aliens on the moon last time so thatâs why we didnât go back yet. Or maybe they use space as an excuse to take all the money for weapon manufacturing. who knows? they dont.
Artemis was rolled back into the hangar to fix the helium leak
Humans did not go back to the moon because we basically learned all there is to know or worth knowing.
The main reason for returning now is to practice for Mars and to use the moon as a launch point to Mars.
I can see the moon littered in abandoned structures within 10 years
I heard itâs to establish a whaling industry on the moon

And they havenât even made it around once yetâŠ
