For anyone wholy unfamiliar with Wreckage Systems, it was born from their Decomposition Theory live shows which they did at a science festival in Sheffield in 2017.
I remember being very envious I could not see or hear what these shows were like at the time. The systems and techniques themselves born from what they built for NMS while working with Paul Weir.
The one day with the memory overflow is also the one day of the year you won’t find outside of a leap year… Which was the one day we were expecting not to get submitted maybe…
Nice job getting the missing dates list together… Hmmm… I wonder what significance they may hold.
Archie gave us an endless soundtrack to bring in this last Mem Restoration chunk solve together. I was absolutely on the edge of my seat as this was all happening and wreckage systems built into endless crescendos. Wish I didn’t have to leave for other obligations rn
I can’t remember how much is behind the patreon subscription but Wreckage Systems is described here: Wreckage Systems
I also really liked the one they posted about sampling the vibrations of a studio door handle to add to the feeling a particular sound was giving them live, but not on record.
Yes it was the last one added to the list and the only one that didn’t decode to gibberish. I missed the decode earlier in the NMScord discord so thanks for bringing this to my attention. It seems the original TR4CE.jpg image also referenced Vision, so people are currently pouring over what it might mean.
On further inspection it seems like it could also have just been a cropped version of the General Discussion category in use at the time from the original screenshot.
The Wreckage Systems and Matrix references are hints together with the 16 glitches. I’m struggling to make anything out of visualising the binary, and how 65dos style noise making fits
Like @Turbulentflow said, it’s uint.max and used a lot for layer depth overlays for “always ontop”.
The ‘UUID’ seems to be a browser artifact on your end (plugin, browser itself, etc.).
