Well that’s not good

Are we moving over to the TOWER next? Are all WT records gone for good? What happens now…I have nothing but questions

Another red line on my wall of LNF theories lol.

But I’m trying to rebuild it from the debris @the_architect - check the memory timestamps! :sob:

So what is in the TOWER? Someone hold my hand…:scream:

The one inside it. Obviously :stuck_out_tongue:

I feel a universe reset incomming for the 10th anniversary…

Well this makes me want this to be a fan made ARG even more so now; please don’t reset our precious memories :sob:

I was having the same thought, actually! I suspect that they’re backporting a lot from LNF, and the trailer showed a pretty noticeable difference in terrain gen which NMS doesn’t currently have. I’d be fine with a reset even if it cost me my bases now mostly because I’m comfortable with my freighter and corvette bases. I figure if they’re going to continue this backport trend, maybe we’d get a proper terrain gen update.

That all said, the way they added dissonant systems and the shadow systems we’re finding lately now, maybe the middle-ground would be creating another fresh batch of new systems or even a newer galaxy with modified terrain gen capabilities. I’ve got no clue but the sky’s not the limit as they say.

A complete reset…bring it on!!! If there is one single thing we long-timers here know oh so well, it is the words, “start a New Game”

The Great Reset…

I’d be in for it honestly, Losing my bases for planets to be even better than they are now would be a deal so amazing I’d sign the contract without reading it

Maybe, but to me the theme is bigger then NMS, and DJ hint(multiple samples made into one new piece), world fair(technology bringing people together in one place), HOEs(multiple viewpoints to create one image) and now the tower(multiple memory fragments lost and relying on one core) I feel point to it in my opinion.

They added completely new terrain gen tech for purple systems.

I can’t see how they couldn’t do it again with all the remaining portal seeds for the current phantom systems.

Right now regions can have about 500-600 systems, but with how the system works, theres actually room for about 4000 systems per region :grimacing:

Of course, this is just a fan made ARG, lets convince ourselves of that until proven otherwise, so we don’t set ourselves up for massive disappointment

We don’t want a repeat of 2016 on the 10th anniversary of peoples imaginations being unfulfilled and everyone blaming HG for not delivering things they never even discussed

Also I would feel like this type of system update should prompt a correspondence between @the_architect and Ghost, just my next guess

It would be perfect if there was a delay in the update too lol. AWWWgust 2.0 for the 10th anniversary

TBH I’m sceptical of a reset, even if this is HG. I think it refers to something else.

My question is, did we ever have the chance of fixing it, and missed it, or was this a pre-determined outcome to set-up whatever it is. Probably the latter, I guess - makes most sense.
