When I saw in the order of a hundred new dates appear, I thought “no way”.
If they now just as easily disappear, or become irrelevant, I think you have your answer.

I think it’s mostly to signify that the WT website (or the “histroical_db”) is lost, it ain’t coming back. It no longer links to the 1016 error and now redirects to A&S, but that the new “WT” website, will be reborn on the Tower.
The Neural Network turning into a Hexagon seems to signify this too.
It’s being reborn elsewhere, and that even though WT as a resource is gone, we operators carry it’s memory inside of us, and we can be the catalyst for memory transference into the Tower to restore the loss of Historical_DB.

That’s a very good and comprehensive resource. 
It’s the understanding of it - I might miss a lot of context, but I don’t see half the meaning that others do. I’m not saying anyone’s wrong, I think it’s me missing stuff. Once this is done, some stuff that’s “just events” will become understandable, but probably not to me.

I think a lot of the gaps in understanding that are being filled by Operators are being made with prior knowledge or experience with the original waking titan; which this ARG seems to be continuing or following on from.
So that’s where a lot of peoples “understanding” seems to be coming from. And even then, I was there for all of it, and I still feel pretty lost around here most days.
I just know we are rebuilding memories for a possible AI to come back to life and that there is a Tower involved at some point, some where.

Oh, me too. Most of the maths and codebreaking leaves me totally baffled. I know my way around HTML, and I do The Guardian crossword - but most of this I leave to experts.
Thankfully, a well-structured ARG makes a very fine spectator sport, and includes activities everyone can engage in. That’s what the “glitching reality” stuff is about - it’s something everyone can contribute to.

Your comment reminded me of a conversation from a couple of days back.
Emily was shut down inside the system with fragments of the five corrupted Dreamers.
Unfortunately, we recently lost five of our twelve Dreamers. Mike Pasquale, Phillip Moretti, Alisha Brown, Isabella Schiavone, and Nina Flores are no longer with us.
The system can’t seem to determine which memories are whose, hence the glitches.
We’re going to build something new from the remnants. A remix.

Oh, sorry, the Dreamers are from seasons 5 and 6 of Waking Titan - they were trapped in a simulation, and players help get most of them out. Emily sacrificed herself to save the last one, Toby.
The conversation I referred to took place on NMScord, when Ben discovered that Alisha Brown, one of the lost Dreamers, lived in Tucson, Arizona (where the wasp specimen was collected), and that she’d have been 12 years old at the time of the 1958 world fair (the Atomium postcard)
From this, we discussed that these memory fragments must have come from Alisha, not Emily.

still working on catching up on WT lore, but that’s interesting for sure. Atlas/system/emily seem to be breaking down and it’s trying to preserve what remains by connecting directly to Core Tower. I guess my question is are iterations(universes) part of overall system. Are iterations made from historical DB. If we lose historical DB then what form of iteration would be made from Core Tower.

Operate solely on TOWER core memory.
It might be worth noting that a “core memory” is a moment in your life that’s said to shape who you are. Usually highly emotional moments.
My interpretation of this is that a new personality will be built from the emotional memories (the ones which resonate more strongly, both good and bad), and that these will come from TOWER.

I’m really stretching here, sort of just thinking aloud, but this could also fit NMS vs LNF…
NMS = the old memory / system = scifi = cold, technological, unfeeling, virtually unlimited in size
LNF = the new memory / system = fantasy = magical, emotional, impressive in scale but decisively limited
It’s also maybe worth noting that the Atlas has only begun to show emotions like fear when presented with evidence of the Void Mother. (I think?) Before that, it was just a super-computer, no evident emotions iirc.

We had suspicions that this ARG was being run by the same people as Waking Titan. Previously it had been noted that the way the project skyscraper website was built from an IT perspective mimicked many things about WT. Now that website officially links back to A&S and we get a post about debris around the same time?
This no longer can be fan made. I was on the side of official HG influence before but I am now entirely convinced. Eee! Exciting

I believe it has been confirmed that it is not run by A&S. Doesn’t mean it isn’t official by Hello Games, but I am still skeptical.

I thought the official word was that the Waking Titan PM Andrea Doyon wasn’t running this. My understanding is that Andrea is not an employee of A&S any longer. Can’t that mean that A&S is running this? (idk how to post the link to what I mean by “official” but I’m talking about the “no man’s sky arg” topic, post 1050 by adlopez16 showing a screenshot showing the WT PM wasn’t involved with this (anashel = Andrea Doyon according to post 1072 by Polyphemus in that same topic.))

This reads to me as a cheeky way to promote it without explicitly letting us know whether he’s involved or not, in an “is he or isn’t he” kind of way.
Anashel is no longer involved with A&S (here’s his very heartfelt goodbye on LinkedIn), that’s correct, but, with his leaving, A&S does not actively do viral advertising anymore. I’d find it more likely that Anashel is consulting on this project than A&S running it; A&S doesn’t seem equipped to do something like this without Anashel and Nathalie.
