My planet went from a wonderful tropical paradise to a barren brown cracked-dirt planet. It was a nice shade of brown though.

I left the system I was in when next hit. Better to do the new things in a fresh system.

Has anyone on ps4 completed the home base restoration since 1.52. It still doesnât work for me.

Actually, my memory is failing or I was too excitedâŚI had to put out my signal booster, input a Nav Data chip and scan for a Habitable BaseâŚthat led me to a Base Computer module which then pointed me to an acceptable place to bring my base back to.
Also I am on PC. I will try this on my PS4 in the morning.

I donât see the option to search for a habitable base anymore in signal boosters, nor the option for monoliths.
I thought 1.52 was supposed to fix this but I guess not.

Go here to see the patch notes. I believe that PS4 needs patch 1.52.1 to fix the finding of a location for the legacy base.

Update 1.53 has fixed base restoration on ps4

It has but now my technician is bugged it wont let me speak to him can we pick up the base move it somewhere else?
Sometimes removing his post and placing it somewhere else in your base helps.
the base restoration has been fixed, but the technicians at the bases are glitched and wonât let you talk to them⌠plus, they are placed through the floor or in a wall.

Yes this is the same be problem Iâm having even if you delete the stations and rebuild them it still happens.
@ toddumptious gave me a good suggestion that may work if your crew is on the ground floor: use the Terrain Manipulator to fill in the ground underneath their stations - assuming that you can get to the area from the outside. I recommend using the square block for the fill-in.
When you remove and replace the technitions, try relocating them to different positionsâŚit worked for me. Now they talk again.
