Carry on with your funny business in the new world of Origins.
Ran all the way around this mountain like this
How do I do it you ask? It’s all about maintaining the proper foothold.
Get to the medbay ASAP!
Whew. Sure glad to be back- Hey wait a minute. It seems brighter in here than I remember. (And now I see the new tread too late)
Skylights. They leak. Don’t run.
Soooo, uh, I randomly fell through the ground while mining, and when it spawned me back on solid ground, all the particles were black. There are a few other graphical glitches happening as well. I think the planets color filter disappeared too, because the color of everything changed.
(I was on a multiplayer mission alone when this happened, and when I turned in the mission and returned to my home system, everything was back to normal )
Must have blown its top!
Interesting bug Planets have a terrain height limit at which everything gets capped. That’s why you see the tallest mountains all having a flat top. In this case the game still places volcanos on top of some, but is unable to render them correctly above the height limit.
AND THERE’S NO FIRE DEPARTMENT!!!
So, I stumbled into one of those Commerce Towers, as I’ve been calling the Lore Repositories or whatever, and one had a part of it buried in the hillside. One of the dual landing pads - and ships can still land on it! Team Mercury should make sure they have a priority area around structures that carves the terrain away. Seems like they used to.
Not exactly the issue you had but the latest 3xp 25/09 fixes this:
- Fixed an issue that could cause volcanoes to be placed upon buildings.
Wish I had seen that one
edit: edited my posts into one, as forum suggested
but a sooooooooo Perfect one!
That middle one though! Ever wanted a Space Duck?
After the update, my toxic world changed to hot, and these things have suddenly grown all over my pavements connecting my extractors and the rest of my base with generators. Oh noes, how can I get to them now?
A day later (and a patch later) the whole planet changed back to toxic. Now I have two different readings of it on two different screens at the same time:
