How about this topic since it is a NMS pic.
I actually love the fact the building can be partially submerged and still dry inside.

I’m experiencing a bug that triggered when I entered a Minor Settlement where my 3rd person view character disappears & can’t interact.
The NPC i tried to interact with also disapperared.
Have resorted to 1st person view & will try a restart.

EDIT.
Restart fixed it.

Have been playing on PS5 primarily, waiting for expedition before jumping back to PC.

So far all my crashes on console have happened when approaching something or summoning something during pulse. They’re hard lock crashes in that the game stays frozen but ambience etc continues, need to close game down and reboot.

It’s happened approaching my freighter mostly and the one in the image below is from a crash when I went to approach some frigates cruising in the atmosphere, one disappeared and it tried to load in physical landing pads for it as it loaded it back in

You can see I had photo mode ready to go because I was pulsing in for a Kodak moment :joy:

Starting to think these may be frigate related crashes.

Visiting my oldest base from Atlas Rises days, mild extension added with Next, havent been to visit since 2019.

Was looking forward to seeing the old gang and my how they’ve grown :open_mouth:

At first I thought it was just the new NPC size variance but I think this is the ol’ enlarged npc bug

How to unlock the NEW secret Atlas boss fight: A step-by-step guide

The Atlas is was added as a secret boss in the newest patch for No Man’s Sky. Found by the community on July 32nd, the search for The Atlas began when one player discovered a mysterious new item that had appeared on their S-Class sentinel ship called the “Glipglap Processor”. After multiple hours of testing, along with the help of other community members who owned S-Class sentinel ships at the time, they discovered that the processor could be used on the Multitool Boltcaster. After a bit of experimentation, it was discovered that the Boltcaster could now be used in the space anomaly. Here’s the full instruction list:

  1. Acquire an S-Class sentinel ship. It should contain the Glipglap Processor.
  2. Apply the Processor to your Boltcaster in the multi-tool menu.
  3. Travel to the space anomaly, and use your newly upgraded Boltcaster to kill Nada and Polo. This should give you the Shwarg Beacon.
  4. Jump between blue star systems until you find an exotic planet. Once one is found, use the Shwarg Beacon to create multiple large Platinum Deposits on the planet. Keep mining until you have 10,000 platinum.
  5. Deposit your platinum at the new “Bank” section of the Nexus on the Space Anomoly. You will receive an item named ‘Atlas’ Offering’.
  6. Travel to the nearest system with an Atlas Space Station.
  7. Enter the Space Station and deposit the Atlas Offering at the main terminal at the end of the hall.
  8. Exit the Space Station and a beacon should appear on a planet in the system. At this beacon there will be a set of ruins.
  9. Explore the ruins until you find the ‘Sniffglar’. (Tip: the Sniffglar is usually found in crates.)
  10. Travel to a (preferably open) area and use the Sniffglar. This will summon The Atlas Mech boss! Now, fight the Atlas. (Be careful, as it has lots of health, and can dish out huge amounts of damage.)
  11. Now claim the spoils of your efforts!
