One of my favourite podcasts and the only Patreon I sub to (for the bonus episodes etc) is called E1 or Episode One.
Every episode of the podcast is the first and only episode of the podcast.
Basically every episode its a new podcast started by new characters, but it’s the same people. They pre-discuss the idea of the podcast and then bring prepared characters to an improv session with beats to hit but how they get there is undetermined.
Essentially it’s comedy D&D thats not restricted to Faerun. (they do do D&D campaigns on the patreon.)
This episode is one of the funniest I’ve listened to in a while, something about the way they step on eachothers toes is heightened by them being teenagers at a school debate this time around, thought I’d share here if this sounds interesting to anyone.
(they’re also finally on spotify if thats more preferable)
the most recent episode is about 3 aliens going to earth to abduct a human, that might be more on brand for the ETARC community :3

Anyone else watched the newly released netflix sci-fi movie Atlas
Apart from the films name, the exo mech, the glowing flora in the subterranean caves, the different planet biomes including some familiar looking above ground flora, especially from swamp type planet/biome in nms, all the way to the flora discovery and naming by the first person to discover a new flora…
Tornado weather anamoly , picks up exo mech and throws it out further away

I believe the movies title stands for Algorithm Totally Leant (its data to) a (movie) script.
OR, screenwriter really got into no mans sky during lockdown and wrote a script, the movie.
At least with USS calistor we have Charlier Brooker outright say “i was playing a lot of no mans sky when I wrote this”. <3
Watched a great free comedy set on youtube last night…

Hmmm… That’s not quite what I am after. What I wished someone did is to make an actually modern computer with the design sensibilities from about 15 years ago (I think. Might be longer?). I’m thinking early IBM thinkpads. Sturdy case, sturdy keynoard, hardwired plugs and jacks. Highly reliable, essentially indestructible.

My son owns a couple of thinkpads. Of course, to make them useable, they are now running linux. That little red button… 
Also, watching Royal Ascot. Love how the conversation is dominated about bets on the color hat the Queen will wear. Everyone naming the brand they are wearing. There are horses involved in this event, aren’t there?
Locally, mass shooting about an hour from here and then a bomb threat at a grocery store not far from me…guess someone thought that would be really funny. Hope they catch them…since they issued the bomb threat electronically, odds are high they will find them. Starting to feel like I live in a 3rd world country.
