A short family scene from yesterday evening:
Boy: “Daddy, come play!”
Me: “No, daddy’s cleaning the kitchen. Go clean up your room!”
Boy promptly walks out of the kitchen.
Wife: “You can do that? that actually works?”
Me: “What? No!”
Wife: “Oh… I just thought… you sounded so certain. There wasn’t a shred of doubt in your voice when you told him.”
Me: “That’s because I had no doubts. I was dead certain that he would just ignore me.”
Wife, looks out of the kitchen: “Yeah, looks like he did.”
We are saved! All of the honey bees have been found! 
CNN: He suspected the buzzing in his ceiling were bees. He just didn’t expect to find 100,000 of them.

During their research, Aycock and Copplestone were able to interview one of the people involved in the game’s production, Steve Sidley.
He too remembered being confused by the table at the time. “I couldn’t unscramble it,” he told the researchers. And he claimed it had been the work of a programmer who developed it while not entirely sober: “He told me it came upon him when he was drunk and whacked out of his brain.”
And here I am, telling myself not to drink and code…

There were a couple of things that reminded me of NMS. Especially the ‘metal men’ you find in clusters on some planets.

I have the German release version “Der Schweigende Stern”. Supposedly some parts were cut for this 2008? English dubbed release. Has been a while since I last watched it, so I guess I’ll see if I can find this version to get comfy tonight with some
