I can wager a guess…it has to do with clauses, phrases, someone who’s name starts with T…
I might add that Steam is also having an issue and I have never seen NMS stuck with a blue circle stating Connecting to Online Discovery Services
I’m not seeing any particular problems with Steam here. I mean, it’s never been all that stable - I expect to lose discovery services at least once a day - but it doesn’t seem any worse than usual.
I have had issues since the launch of Worlds 2 but that is usual with an update
Sony posted around an hour ago that PSN is fully restored
Thank you Steam.
I am seeing a number of mobile games making their way onto Steam. Thank goodness Valve is protecting us from the ad income driven monstrosity that mobile gaming has become.
Speaking of which…
For the record, I did throw up in my mouth a bit when I read that.
The reason you only threw up a bit is because in your stomach there is a valve protecting you.
I feel a bit pukey everyday these days
Game related in a way…
So basically they want that bank that substack is rolling in with it’s pay walls?
I only learned about substack as a thing recently because a DOGE employee put an article called “why I quit a six figure income to save America” behind a 1000 dollar pay wall and it was just a blank document
In otherwords, I’m not actually here to save America, I’m here for the scam, and this is just another small part of it, thanks for your money sucker.
I get the feeling it might be another 3+ years before we see this and I do hope they take their time with it.
Strange to think we might be playing Light No Fire by the time we get a release date for the next Witcher game
This has become my new “the last guardian”. Every year I wait for news. Every year, nothing. There was something last year, about the studio losing and regaining direction, but crickets since.
I hope it makes it’s way in some shape or form to us, would be a shame if it just disappears quietly like so many other promising concepts </3
I think steam had a little fall
Can’t login and 1,000 players in most games according to SteamDB active player charts.
Aaaand its back, I forgot it was Tuesday
Limmy is one of my favourite sketch comedians from my teens/early twenties, I still watch the dee dee sketches on a weekly basis.
Like most comedians who no longer have a show with the BBC, he’s taken to being a twitch streamer.
I never tune in for them, every couple of weeks or months I might watch an edited compilation or one of his improv stories (or thatcher James Cordon rants).
He just started playing Disco Elysium, right this minute… I don’t think I can sit this one out.
Fun fact, a decade after the Limmy Show ended, around 2019, BBC Scotland commissioned him to make a cheap sketch comedy for the YouTube generation.
He filmed the entire thing in his house, by himself, with a tripod and a camera.
It aired three weeks into the lockdown. Completely unintentional but it was the most aptly timed TV show of the entire pandemic, it just heightened all of the scenarios
I will return with a link to one of those pronto.
Edit:
A quick search of Limmy on the forums shows I’ve already posted a Dee Dee sketch in the past, the most NMS related one
Here’s a clip from the lockdown show that was made before but aired during the lockdown.
I think the real question here is, what did Limmy know that we didn’t and what’s his connection to China (apart from drinking tea from fine china)
“Whats heavier? A kilogram of steel or a kilogram of feathers? …thats right, its a kilogram of steel.” His confusion still makes me laugh.
All the same, if was going to be dropped on my head, I would go for the feathers. You can take physics too far.
