ThRasher clue?
Here’s a thought:
Mr Murray posted the emoji & then later reposted the bit about the ‘stranded in permadeath on water world’.
So… maybe is a suggestion of something being implimented to save your bacon?
I haven’t been keeping up on all the Nintendo news but maybe the switch 2 is warped and streaky like bacon? Probably not, I’m just trying to keep my excitement in check.
Easily slips out of your hands?
With the increased additions to Kronus over the last few updates with new recipes, ingredients and even conversation options/rewards/mechanics, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just a big massive overhaul to cooking.
It’s still a bit of a clunky plate spinning procedure and trying to do a lot of stock taking and math in your head, wouldn’t say no to some big QOL stuff there and more incentives to do it without it feeling like something that just takes up a lot of storage space on the off chance you might need some of it for something some day.
That’s something else that needs to be addressed; many food and ingredient variety’s, many bones and many ship parts taking up a lot of storage space for hoarders, which is 99% of the gaming community. I think these things deserve their own storage space similar to ingredients, and on a wider scale.
We have ship archiving on our freighter now, surely something similar exists for ship parts and precious cargo like ancient Dino bones, those should definitely also be in cold storage
Maybe expanding our frigates could expand this stock? Give them another purpose outside of missions. Maybe even sending frigates on missions will restrict your access to these ingredients while they’re on missions, or even chance of losing some on mission failure (thankfully rare unless you’re being reckless)
Or maybe just the former as storage space expansion for these bespoke items, the latter is starting to veer into those other space sims territory. Perhaps you can only access the additional stock from the freighter when they’re on missions, but can access it anywhere once the are with the fleet and you have the appropriate freighter cargo TP upgrades.
How can you still not have enough cargo space??
I agree that more space is needed. The logical development of the game hasn’t kept pace with the available crafting parts and collectables. It’s nice that my backpack holds so much - but it’s ludicrous that it holds more than my freighter and storage containers combined.
Considering nintendont can remote kill the switch 2, I would agree it is very greasy. XD
I mean, summoning bacon does sound like a great idea at any time, but he’s making me hungry. If this goes on, I’ll be disappointed by the update simply because it doesn’t come with actual bacon!
Turns out Sean’s just really hungry and he hasn’t figured out how to just ask the new intern for a BLT directly. Geeks will never not be awkward like that
You people have it all wrong. They are just adding pigs to the variety of creatures. Don’t get so over-hyped.
Then again, this post
Includes bacon and a clock…so either it is breakfast time or, since bacon is always good, it could also mean anytime
I know steamdb can’t track proper private branch updates anymore, but I have a feeling these app specific general changes are still indicative of a branch update. We’d need to cross check with an experimental to be sure when one happens, but it lines up with HG’s usualy update pattern too.
Steamdeck getting an update…a fairly large one. 5.7GB. I am sure I just updated everything 2 days ago.
Weird, nothing yet on my end. And a public push would’ve been seen on steamDB. Might be a big change to one of the supporting depots? SteamDB did list a change to Steamdeck settings a while back.
No difference in the version number between deck and PC…
…have there been QS items running all this time in a community research? Lol
Steam just added this page

Sean, you were talking about bacon all day yesterday. And it was a tuesday, no less. I had really expected there to be bacon for breakfast today! Or at least for lunch!
