Some traveler was tasked to investigate the fire and speeds by in a streak of blue light. They have witnessed the summoning of a Bacon Hawke.
My guess is we have crispy Light No Fire infobacon on the pan and it is ready for consumption

I think a ‘beacon’ is a good guess.
Perhaps it’s part of an expedition with some sort of lost ship &/or lore we are sent off looking for.
1st guess: Beacon is a good guess to me too.
2nd guess: Perhaps adding proper space police and space jail?
But there is also this joke… if you want to say “bacon” with a Jamaican accent, just say “Beer Can” and it sounds the same.
So in the off chance that he knows this joke, my 3rd guess is that its an update that adds beer into the game lol.

I think not. Bacon is the one essential food to all sentient species - no advanced thinking being can exist without it. Unfortunately, not all planets have pigs - so those planets have adapted to make their bacon from other creatures.
What you’re seeing is an example of the little-known Ham Octopus (more correctly septopus) of the planet Zebulon IV, from which the inhabitants produce a more than acceptable bacon substitute (albeit with a slightly fishy aftertaste).
I was about to post that bacon certainly doesn’t come from Calamari, but your explanation is a lot funnier!
