Under the main menu in catalogue you will find all your discovered items. Cooking discoveries will show up even if you do not make the products. It is enough to put the ingredients into the processor.
In short you just need a handful of all your ingredients which you will never actually use up. If you put them into the processor and see what could be created it will show up in your catalogue.
Another useful tip; If you do make a product, slide it over to the input and see if it will create new items with or without the originals. And; sometimes a new product is produced when two boxes contain the same ingredient.
