I really love this expedition. Almost completed it but waiting for my expeditions in the expedition to complete 
I am keeping a Captain’s Log to chronicle the way events are unfolding for me. Will post it when done.

Ugghhhh…I am stuck looking for a storm crystal near the last RV…
Also the lore from this expedition is not stored any place so I lost all of it…

I remember getting lucky with the regular Exp 8, I had a stack of those extra crystals you get from mining in space and dihydrogen on planets. I was cracking those open when I got my Storm Crystal!

Check the RV 4 system Anggierfo, a marsh planet called ‘Erylanaith Otsu’. Although the Milestone ‘Well-Oiled Machine’ (Phase 1), gives you a Warp Hypercore, so Storm Crystals should not be needed.

Unfortunately, like others on the Switch, my file is not converting to a Normal save. I tried restarting. Would like to keep this file simply because I have 6,600 QS…

Interesting, is it just the Switch having that issue? The Expedition 7 Rerun didn’t convert for me on PC either until the event was over, like it used to be. I didn’t know if that one was just an exception because it was so tied to the global progress meters, or if something funny happened.
