OMG. I could kick myself for not carefully reading the text of the rare “Encrypted Navigation Computer” find. It refers to an associated “Decryption Terminal” that could be used to install a starship component.
Is this just a novelty or does it really do something?
When on a mission to rescue a stranded traveler, I think that I had to find an Encrypted Navigation Computer, get it decrypted and then given to the stranded npc so that they could take off. I don’t think that it can be used anywhere else.
Correct. I have never found one of these outside of the stranded (and ungrateful) pilot missions.
