Happy Merrymas one and all.

Family are going to spain for the holidays this year so ill be soaking in the solitude over the new years. It’ll be like a mini holiday for myself not having to clean up after other people :joy:

Going to spend it watching crap with friends and cousins dropping in, then maybe visit some Unification Day events :blush:

Hope everyone has a peaceful time with family and friends.

My mom is off tomorrow with a group of her friends helping a mutual friend settle into a recent move and change in circumstances. So I will just lay back in the comfy recliner and watch some movies and maybe some Unification Day drop in.

Waiting to see if the neighbors have a New Year’s Eve fireworks display.

Stuff yourselves with good food and take time to be thankful for what you have.

Its getting close to 2026 here, much happiness to those Citizen Scientists who’ve already crossed the threshold and I’ll see you all on the other side soon enough.

I decided to start my new year brunch with fusion of cuisines.

  • Egyptian Faoule (Fava beans with tomato, diced green peppers, diced red onions, garlic, and Middle Eastern spice mix).
  • Creamy Shrimp & Grits with Za’atar spice mix.
  • Caramel Macchiato coffee
