Just happened to me. The buried stuff, we can’t get there by using the terrain manipulator cause it blows the stuff up, but I think it’s always in a cave, and sometimes those caves have openings to the surface. It’s not so much a “digging” event as it is a “find the cave opening” event?
I have still dug into the caves and found the relics while searching them after a yellow icon disappeared, so don’t really need to find and opening

The items also appear and disappear. I found an empty cave, logged out, today the cave has cubes when I log back in. Didn’t yesterday. So strange.

That only(and always) happens with the underground relics…as soon as I break ground above them they either disappear or they move…usually they just disappear…all the other yellow markers have been good for me.

Yyeah same, I landed on a trading post that had a traveller on it, logged out, when I logged back in the traveller was gone don’t know if it’s supposed to do that

I haven’t tried checking on any of these things after log-out and log-in but I can say that the yellow marker for a bunch of surface cubes was good for me…pointed me right to them and they were there proper.
I have some weird black floating rocks near my base that have a yellow marker and as far as I can tell they are always there between logins…they were in the exact same spot when I reverted to my pre-1.5 save when my 1st one stopped loading so it’s definitely not just my base that keeps them spawned in…they are reliably always there.
